It was reported that a guy was shot and killed in a Harlem smoking store on Saturday evening.
Around 10:05 p.m. on Saturday, police said a 42-year-old man named Alfred Johnson was fatally wounded in the neck or torso inside Step Up Exotics, a tobacco store with a “Super Mario Bros.”-themed awning on W. anniversary St. near Fifth Ave.
He was taken to Harlem Medical, but the doctors there were unable to rescue him. From across street from the smoking store, a blood trail led to the door of a Shake Shack.
“In this area, it’s not really shocking,” remarked a worker at the a 99 cent store across the street who provided his name as only Billy. This kind of thing keeps happening. Happens virtually every day.”
No One Has Been Taken Into Custody By The Police
“I want the population to understand that we have had to work in tandem with the law enforcement to avoid such needless bloodshed,” said Father Robert Brown, a local clergyman and religious liaison with both the NYPD who attended the scene Sunday.
If we want to put an end to gun violence, we need to pool our resources. A 32-year-old woman got fatally wounded in the chest approximately 20 minutes later, about five blocks distant on E. 125th St. near Second Ave., authorities said.
She was taken to Harlem Hospital via ambulance, where her condition is currently listed as stable. At first, she reportedly wasn’t helping cops out, according to sources.
South African-born 21-year-old Chizzo Emek, who has lived in Harlem for the past 12 months, expressed his anger at the persistent gun violence.

“I mean it’s just a little bit of a vibe killer, and it doesn’t make you feel safe…. On Sunday, Emek was planning to go to the smoke store when he stumbled onto the crime scene, which was cordoned off by police.
I was returning from Whole Foods two days ago, and there was a guy flashing a rifle around outside my apartment,” Emek continued.
The violence followed a terrifying 15-hour period in which there were a total of 14 shootings across the city, leaving three people dead and thirteen injured.
Between 2:30 p.m. on Friday and 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, there were eight distinct explosions in the New York City boroughs of the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, killing five people and wounding five others.

Violence With Firearms Is Extremely Widespread In This Area
Thursday saw the shooting death of a 22-year-old man who was shot outside a Burger Shack near Times Square. According to police and eyewitnesses, shots were fired. About 5:35 p.m., Idrissa Siby got shot in the middle of the body near W. amended St. and Eight Ave.
Siby, a Bronx resident, was taken in a medical helicopter to Mt Sinai Hospital, but he was pronounced dead there, according to the police. Currently, there have been no detentions.
On Saturday, police said they were want to speak with a guy who was observed near the site of a fatal shooting that occurred last week in a Harlem smoke shop.
Police have released surveillance photographs of a bearded guy they want to interrogate about a gunshot that took place on W. 125th St. at Fifth Ave. at Level Out Exotic items, a tobacco store with a “Super Mario Bros.” themed awning.
On the evening of February 11 at around 10 p.m., 42-year-old Alfred Johnson was shot multiple times in the store. He made a break for the Shake Shack across the street, but collapsed there.
Johnson was evacuated by ambulance to Harlem Medical, but he was pronounced dead there.

The Washington Heights Neighbourhood Was Johnson’s Home
No one has been taken into custody by the police. There was no immediate word on whether or not the killing had a specific purpose.

On the evening of February 11 at around 10 p.m., someone called 911 to report a shooting at 2 West 125th St. The victim, who was apparently in his thirties, was found by authorities with gunshot injuries to the chest and neck.
At NYC Health + Emergency rooms, where he was brought, the victim was confirmed dead. Currently, there have been no arrests made, and the inquiry is still underway.
Conclusion
The incident happened outside a Shake Shack, and it was apparently just 30 minutes after another fatal shooting had occurred near the same junction, outside a smoking shop.
