To add insult to injury, Nichols’ heartbroken family has spoken out about the type of father and son he was. RowVaughn Wells, Tyre Nichols’s mother, fondly recalled their times with his son and characterised him as “a good man.”

Attorney Benjamin Crump claims that the victim, a FedEx worker, moved to Memphis shortly before the Covid-19 epidemic. He was abandoned in his new location as the circumstances evolved.

There have been rumours that Nichols dated a lady named Katie in the past, but this has never been proven. His ex-girlfriend is a mother to a son whose name is being kept under wraps.
