But she ends up with a lot more than she bargained for as the case resurrects painful memories from her past. Six years later, when Amaya’s parents receive a VHS film showing their daughter is still alive. Things take an unexpected and fascinating turn.

Milena Smit is fantastic as Miren Rojo, a lady who is driven to uncover the truth. Despite being haunted by her own personal problems, which keep rearing their ugly heads throughout the series.
The Snow Girl is, at its core, a crime drama. But it has many more levels, good subplots, and action than is typical for a show of this genre.

From Javier Castillo’s novel “La chica de nieve,” the film “The Snow Girl” was adapted. The work has American characters and takes set in New York.
