Unfortunately, despite being rushed to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his wounds, it was determined that he had already passed away.
According to the investigation conducted by the detectives, a guy who was inside a home on Quincy Street reported hearing noises and observing a person who appeared to be tampering with cars. The man proceeded to further explore the situation by going outdoors while armed with a legal firearm.
According to the police report, a conversation took place between a little boy and the adult. During the course of the exchange, the man shot the child. After that, the child was transferred to a local hospital, where it was determined that he had passed away.
Karon Blake, age 13, a resident of Northeast, District of Columbia, has been named as the victim in this instance.
