After months on the run, the guy was apprehended in Binghamton, in upstate New York, according to sources. His attorney requested bail upon his arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court, but the request was quickly denied.

A prosecutor has said that a dispute in the park rapidly became violent.

After that, Blanco said, “there was a very brief physical altercation.”

It was then that Walker “discharged the handgun, striking Unique Smith in the stomach,” as he put it. “That was the medical cause of his death.”
