The son of a Westchester County police official was shot, and a 14-year-old kid has been charged in the case.
The child, whose identity and whereabouts were withheld by police, is said to have been arrested on Wednesday night after he threatened another person with a gun at a Bronx bus stop.
Soon after, on January 21, he was connected to the shooting death of a 17-year-old teenager aboard a Bx5 bus.
The victim, who is said to be the son of Mount Vernon Police Deputy Commissioner Jennifer Lackard, was shot in the chest at the intersection of Story and Metcalf avenues in Soundview at around 6 o’clock in the evening.
