Lady Gaga may or may not be enjoying the he-she speculation. In the September issue of Out magazine, the fun pop singer poses naked, exposing most of her, ahem, lady parts. This comes after her manager confirmed earlier this month that she is really a lady.
She defends her LGBT supporters, too. Gaga revealed to Out what she had told Kanye West about their planned co-headlining tour: “Before we move forward with this, there’s something I need to tell you: I’m homosexual.
To put it simply, my music is queer. The gay community is represented on my show. And the fact that it’s gay only makes it better for me. The show is going to be great, and I can’t wait to see all of my homosexual fans there. And the gayness will continue.”
What Happened, Exactly?
After an up-skirt shot generated allegations that she’s a hermaphrodite, Gaga made sure to clarify that she is still a woman. Photo taken from film captured at England’s Cheltenham festival showed a protrusion between Gaga’s legs; the bulge might have been created by undergarments, a faulty angle, or, like some bloggers suggested, a penis.
Upon being questioned, Gaga allegedly responded as follows, according to Bossip.com: “I don’t feel bad about it, but it’s not something I broadcast to the world. Yes. I was born with both male & female genitalia yet identify as a female.
It’s a tiny portion of a penis but doesn’t cause any major problems in my daily life. I haven’t brought it up since it’s just not that important to me. Basically, you had to be kidding me. We don’t exactly sit around discussing our private parts.
I see this as an excellent chance to help other transgender persons feel more at ease in their own skin. When it comes to sexiness and heat, I’m hard to beat. I’m equipped including both a **** as well as a p*****. What a f***ing big deal.”
According to ABCNews.com, Gaga’s manager remarked, “This is utterly ludicrous” when questioned if the “Crazy Face” diva is a transsexual and would have said the above quote.

Lady Gaga’s Sexuality Is The Subject Of Much Conjecture
After telling Rolling Stone magazine that she identifies as bisexual despite having a physical attraction to women, Gaga’s gender has been the topic of great curiosity.
“I think I’m altering what folks assume is sexy,” she stated to Cosmopolitan in May.
This past June, she gave USA Today some further context on the matter, adding, “Being gay, bi, or sexually liberated is not something that needs to be hidden, in my opinion.

Gaga appeared in Israel today, and she was noticeably more subdued than usual. The pop queen told reporters she will tone down a sexpot persona for Wednesday’s Tel Aviv gig of her Celebrity Ball tour by covering up her tight top with a black suede jacket displaying a Star of David.
Yet in the end, the party girl emerged once more. After describing Jerusalem as “sacred and holy,” Lady Gaga said she was more excited to visit the city than to “go drunk in a club,” though she acknowledged that she might “get intoxicated in Jerusalem.”

With her “not a homosexual lady” remark on Drag Race, Gaga has only served to confuse matters further. If Gaga still sees herself as bisexual, she’s wasting a chance to educate her fans about the identity. She missed an opportunity to talk to the gay applicants on the shared experiences of marginalisation that bi women and gay men share.
Nobody can say that Gaga doesn’t care about or take action for LGBTQ+ rights. The singer has always been an activist, even before her debut, when she famously yelled “Are you listening?” at President Obama during the National Equality March. The global LGBT community has praised her for her work and her voice.
Yet for a prominent figure with her platform, there is a huge gap between an ally and a part of this group. She is often cited as a prominent figurehead for the bisexual community.
As she identifies as “one of us,” Lady Gaga can serve as a potent counterpoint to the widespread misunderstandings that persist about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals and bisexuality. Gaga could do a lot to bring attention to the many issues bi women face, such as the higher than average cancer rates and sexual assault.
