Although the second season of Love Island America ended a year ago, the show and its most memorable couples continue to be talked about among viewers.
Adapted from its original UK format, the show followed a group of young, attractive people as they spent time in a tropical villa in search of love.
There will be more episodes of the successful show from CBS. As of the 27th of January, 2021, Decider stated that auditions were still being held for Season 3, which will take place in Hawaii.
It’s safe to assume that the upcoming season will continue the trend of stunning scenery and stunning characters from prior seasons. Yet the main question is whether any of the new couples will stay beyond the next season.
There Was A Brief Post-Show Romance Between Weston And Emily
Among the couples, Weston Richey & Emily Salch established the standard because they kept dating long after the Series finale. Weston didn’t finally find love just on show until season five.
But things changed when Emily came in on rotation; she and Weston hit it up right away. Well, this is where the two are at the moment.
Based on an Instagram picture by Emily in 2019, The Cinemaholic reports that she and Weston were dating.
“Our road was not simple or ideal, but from day one we have indeed been 100% truthful about ourselves, have spoken without love and respect, really listened to each other, and constantly had one another’s backs whenever times were difficult,” she wrote.
We might have not won Love Island, yet we’re winners in the real world. According to a 2020 E! story, Emily appeared to be spending Valentine’s Day alone, based on an Instagram post she made.
In May of 2020, Emily gave an update on the status of her engagement with Weston via YouTube. She claims that they eventually split up, got back together an another few times, and finally called it quits.
It seems that both parties have been rather busy since their breakup. Weston’s photography and content creation career has taken off, as seen by his prolific posting on Instagram. Instagram and Twitter posts from Emily reveal that she has been occupied with seeing new cities and working as a model.

Many people already have binge-watched the 22 episodes that make up the first season of Love Island USA, which premiered on Netflix on December 1.
