Frozen 2, which premieres this Friday in UK theatres, is the long-awaited sequel to the 2013 Disney hit Frozen, which introduced audiences to the icy kingdom of Arendelle.
Honeymaren, played by Rachel Matthews, joins fan favourites Anna, Elsa, and Olaf in this sequel to the 2013 film Frozen.
Fans have speculated that Honeymaren and Elsa might end up together ever since they first saw her in the film’s trailer earlier this year.
Is it true that Elsa is gay? The opinions of the fans are as follows.
Can Elsa Be Seen As A Lesbian In Frozen?
Despite Honeymaren’s brief appearance in the trailer, many people believe she will play Elsa’s lover in the movie.

Has Anything Been Said Concerning Elsa’s Sexuality?
Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who wrote “Let It Go,” told IGN that Elsa will not have a romantic interest in the sequel.
According to her, “Elsa is not merely characterised by a love involvement,” much like in the first film. To paraphrase one critic, “There are a lot of movies where a woman’s only purpose in life is to be a love interest.
That’s not the kind of tale we planned on telling just now. The story we truly wanted to share was, “If you have these abilities, how do you learn and develop and find their place among humans and discover answers that haven’t been found before?”

Many thought that Rachel Wood’s character Iduna would fill the part of Elsa’s new romantic interest with in sequel after the initial “Frozen 2” teaser was published in February 2019.
In March, an article from NPC Daily titled “IT’S OFFICIAL: Disney declares Elsa to be a lesbian movie Frozen 2″ began circulating online and gave the hypothesis a huge boost.
Unfortunately, NPC Daily is satire, thus the narrative is completely made up.

Even so, optimism persists. In “Frozen,” Elsa was a feminist as well as a loner because she was uncomfortable with her own power. She also lacks the stereotypical prince who would be her boyfriend.
