Chicago Lawyer Accused Of Using Racial Slur And Obscenity During Hearing That Was Being Live-Streamed

During a hearing in a domestic dispute that was being livestreamed, a Chicago attorney is accused of using a racial slur and an obscenity. The hearing was also being seen by the public.

It would appear that Donna Makowski was referring to employees of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office when she referred to “those motherf*rs.” A document that was submitted to the court on Thursday states that she also used the n-word.

According to the complaint, the statements were made during an unmuted conversation while the attorney waited for her client. The judge and the other participants on the Zoom court call were able to hear the comments she made.

As far as we can tell, when Donna Makowski referred to “those motherf*rs,” she was talking about employees at the Cook County sheriff’s office. According to paperwork filed in court on Thursday, she also uttered the N-word.

The judge and the other participants on the Zoom court call could hear her comments because she was not using a mute while she waited for her client, the petition claims.
