Attack on Titan is the type of show that hammers you repeatedly with game-changing surprises, and it appears that the crew behind such a story is now applying a similar strategy to the release schedule.
Since season four was originally labelled the “Final Season,” people believed that section 2 would conclude the story. As we grew closer to episode 87, though, it became evident that the show required additional time to finish everything up.
It appears that the decade-long saga will conclude with the next installment in the series, despite rumours of a possible movie. Things are not quite straightforward, however, since we additionally know that the series’ final episodes will be released in two halves.

What Will Occur?

Eren may be terrible, but Papenbrook has not yet decided whether or not the creature is a monster (via Polygon). Attack on Titan’s ability to merge black-and-white motivations with grey spaces contributes to the show’s unpredictable viewing experience.
“Each episode progresses the plot in such a manner that it draws you in one way and then quickly turns the world on its head when you discover something entirely new. So I’m not sure what I feel towards Eren as a spectator and a fan of a show,” Papenbook remarked.
Even though the actor has played Eren and professes to be in tune with his emotions, he lacks insight into the reason why his character behaves in such an extreme manner.
“I am conscious that he has occasionally said some pretty awful things about Armin and Mikasa, his adopted family. I do not entirely get why he commits these horrifying acts, such as murdering and attacking others, as well as being wicked and violent in general.”

Is This The Climax?
Part of the difficulty is that Papenbrook somehow doesn’t understand if Eren realises that his actions are wrong.
“Is he a beast? Is he so righteous in the way he acts and so relentless that he’ll not give up whatever he has decided, that he’ll continue to move forward regardless? I am uncertain as to whether or not this makes him a monster.”
Trina Nishimura, the English voice actress for Mikasa, expressed her wishes for the story’s conclusion during the IGN panel: “In mine heart of hearts, I genuinely want Eren, Mikasa, and Armin to purchase identical townhouses and become best friends.

I am aware that this will not occur, but I trust for their sake that there will be a nice conclusion. Very likely, that will not occur.”
Director Yuichiro Takahashi is eager for fans to recognise his (small) improvements to the subject matter in the second period of the series finale (via JapanForward).
