A Twenty-Year-Old Man Was Found Dead Outside Of The Navy Yard Metro Station

According to the police, a guy in his 20s was killed in a gunshot that took place on Saturday night in the bustling Navy Yard district in Southeast District of Columbia.

The gunshot happened just before 8:00 p.m. on the 1200 block of Half Street, which is located quite close to Nationals Park. Officers raced to the scene.

When they arrived, the officers spotted a man who had been shot outside of a metro station door that served the Navy Yard.

CPR was done on the man by the officers, however he was ultimately ruled dead at the scene of the incident. Terry Clark, 20, from Southeast, District of Columbia, was identified as the victim by investigators later on.

Officials from the Metropolitan Police Department have stated that the shooting is being investigated as a homicide, but they have not disclosed any other information regarding the incident. The investigation is still going on at this time.

DC Police Investigate Shootings In Navy Yard Community

The most recent instance looks to be a botched attempt at committing a robbery while equipped with a weapon. On Sunday morning, at around 4:10 a.m., a suspect who was armed allegedly made an attempt to steal the property of a victim who was located

on the 200 block of Tingey Street SE. During the attempted robbery, the suspect shot the victim and then drove away in a grey sedan from the site.

An image of a grey car with four doors was taken by a surveillance camera in the area, and now investigators are trying to identify the person who was behind the wheel.

A man who had been shot was discovered by authorities in Washington, District of Columbia, eight hours earlier outside of the Navy Yard Metro Station. At the location, which was located on the 1200 block of Half Street SE, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Terry Clark, 20, a resident of Southeast District of Columbia, has been named as the victim by the investigating authorities.

WUSA9 was told by a man who works in the vicinity and who begged not to be identified that he saw the gunshot as he was walking towards the subway on his way home. He claims that on two previous instances he has been forced to flee the area in order to avoid being shot in the same place.

WUSA9 was informed by residents in the neighbourhood that they have had it up to here with the gun violence, particularly on that block on Half Street SE.

“That block right you try to avoid it, not avoid it all the time but you don’t go as frequently as you used to,” said Andrew Afifian,

who claims to have lived in the neighbourhood for the past three years. Afifian says he has been a resident of the community for the past three years. He claims that because he now has a teenage daughter, he has made the decision to relocate to a different part of the District.

Afifian stated, “You pay more yet it looks like this neighbourhood is getting more hazardous.”

A disagreement that broke out between two employees of Buffalo Wild Wings in October of the previous year resulted in a gunshot that took place on the 1200 block of Half Street SE.

Craig Jermaine Peacock, age 31, was taken into custody by the police after allegedly shooting at a coworker who sustained injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. On the scene, a firearm was located and recovered.
