His campaign, as he put it, is “about the unapologetic pursuit of excellence in our country,” he said.

Ramaswamy’s Plans For The 2024 US Elections

“America is in the middle of a national identity crisis,” Ramaswamy said in a column that was published in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) and headed “Why I am running for President.”

Ramaswamy is now a candidate for the presidency of the United States. In a time when religion, patriotism, and hard work are all on the decrease, we yearn for a purpose more than ever.

We satisfy our desire for meaning by embracing secular faiths such as climatism, Covidism, and gender ideology; but, we are unable to answer the question, “What does it mean to be an American?”

“The foremost aim for the Republican Party should be to fill this hole with an exciting national identity that dilutes the woke agenda to the point that it is irrelevant.

However, many prominent Republicans either parrot slogans they learned in 1980 or attack the culture of the left without providing an alternative.

Ramaswamy's Plans For The 2024 US Elections

In order to put America first, we need to first get a better understanding of what America actually is. He voiced his opinion by saying, “That is why I am running for president.”

According to Politico, Ramaswamy is considering running for public office with the goal of “revitalising the American spirit and bringing back a culture of excellence into society.” This would be the emphasis of any future campaign he would run.

In an interview with the journal, he shared his thoughts on the matter, saying, “I believe that I’ve built a vision for American national identity that I have strong conviction for and is the product of my personal path of having lived the benefits that this country has offered me.”

The billionaire continued, “And the combination of both doing it intellectually and having personally experienced that vision of our nation makes me well qualified to explain that, and having personally experienced that vision of our nation makes me well suited to deliver on it.”

A Team In The Making

According to Bloomberg, Ramaswamy met power brokers and gave talks in Iowa and other important states to gauge audience response before launching his run. He also has a 20-person presidential campaign staff.

Politico stated that former Pennsylvania GOP Senate candidate Kathy Barnette may lead his grassroots campaign and Tricia McLaughlin, who worked for Ohio governor Mike DeWine’s 2022 reelection campaign, may be his press secretary if the entrepreneur runs.

He engaged Republican operative Rex Elsass’ political company, with his top deputy Ben Yoho as “CEO,” to run his future bid.

A Team In The Making

Former Iowa governor Terry Branstad, who Politico called a “political kingmaker,” has stated he will give Ramaswamy a chance. Branstad added, “Iowans are quite open-minded and prepared to listen and make up their own mind.

Mark Weaver, a senior GOP consultant in Ohio, told Bloomberg that Ramaswamy, who has never held an elected position, should run for Sherrod Brown’s US Senate seat next year.

Weaver said Vivek is a talented man with a powerful message about government equality. Before running for president, he must show himself in lower government positions.

Politico noted that Ramaswamy will likely seize his low chances. “Maybe all of this is ill-advised and I’ll fall flat on my face,” he remarked. “I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
