Crossing an international border typically requires the presentation of a valid passport. Additionally, passports are known to be issued to nationals by respective countries. But what about those who are denied a passport by their home country’s government?
A refugee is a person who has been forced to leave their place of origin due to persecution, conflict, or violence and who cannot safely return to that nation to receive a passport.

The Post has found that some disgruntled immigrants are taking taxpayer-funded bus excursions to Canada to escape the crime and filth of New York City.
Several migrants have reported seeing National Guard soldiers handing out bus tickets to people at the International Transport Bus Terminal in Manhattan who are making the journey upstate to reach the Canadian border.
At 4 a.m. on a Sunday, Raymond Pea and his family, originally from Venezuela, showed up at a bus stop in a service station in Plattsburgh, New York, some 20 hours south of something like the Canadian border.
Free bus tickets were provided to Pea and his family by the military, he added. We hope to improve our standard of living by moving to Canada.

A member of the National Guard has confirmed that troops stationed at the bus station are helping to guide migrants to the staff who distribute the free tickets.
According to a City Hall insider, Mayor Eric Adams’s office contracts with a number of private organisations to provide services for migrants, such as “re-ticketing” to allow them to travel to other cities.
A number of charities, including Catholic Charities, assist migrants who wish to leave New York City, the person said.
A representative for Catholic Charitable Community Resources noted that the organisation had supported “thousands of new migrants,” including some who “expressed their intention to relocate to other places and Catholic Charities gave some help for their travel expenses.”
