The purpose of National Kazoo Day is to recognize the positive emotional effects of playing (and listening to) the kazoo on people of all ages. On January 28th, listen to kazoo bands or play in one yourself to celebrate.
National Kazoo Day: A Look Back In Time
Alabama Vest and Thaddeus Von Clegg, a German-American clockmaker, created this uniquely American musical instrument in 1840 and debuted it to the world as the “Down South Submarine” in 1852 at the Georgia State Fair.
