After boasting about her remarkable weight loss, Tammy Slaton has opened up about her desire to become a mother.
The 36-year-old Sisters star, who formerly weighed 1,000 pounds and has been open about her weight loss struggle, is ready to move on to new challenges. She dropped from 717 to 550 pounds, over 200 pounds, making her a candidate for bariatric surgery.

On Tuesday’s episode of 1000 lb. Sisters, Tammy found out that she had lost enough weight to be cleared for surgery after entering rehab earlier in the season. The operation went well, much to Amy’s relief, and now that Tammy has a fresh lease on life. She is wondering what the next step should be. From the sounds of things, having children is an option.
“I’ve missed so much and I’m glad to have a new opportunity at life,” she said to the cameras.
And then Tammy took it a step further, telling her loved ones, “Who knows, I could have a kid.”

Tammy Slaton Wants To Be A Mom
She has already changed dramatically, and that trend will continue as she nears her objective.
Now she’s gone out and said she wants to have kids someday. This comes only days after she told cameras on the TLC show that she was “speechless” when husband Caleb proposed.
The most recent episode showed Tammy waking up after a successful surgery, but she still had a long way to go in her quest to be better.
Nonetheless, she focused on starting a family with her soon-to-be husband, telling cameras. “I’ve missed so much and I’m eager to have a new chance on life.”
And she did tell her loved ones: “Who knows, I could have a kid.”
