Jefferson City Man Charged With Bringing Drugs Into Jail

Michael Sayles, age 46, was charged with one count of possessing a controlled substance while in custody. The charge was for one count.

Nye County Says Inmates Accused Of Attempting To Smuggle Drugs Through Laundry At Jail

According to the Nye County Sheriff’s office, nine persons were taken into custody after being accused of being involved in a narcotics smuggling operation at the detention centre in the area.

According to Nye County, deputies at the Nye County Detention Center received information on December 5 that two inmates who were on an outside work detail were accused of bringing narcotics into the jail. The offenders were working outside the facility.
