This weekend, after a limited theatrical release, Reese Witherspoon’s film adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s best-selling novel Luckiest Girl Alive will debut on Netflix.
Mila Kunis plays Ani FaNelli, a competitive New Yorker who is about to get engaged to her former quarterback fiance and is about to be promoted to editor of the New York Times Magazine. But everything might change if anything from her troubled high school days comes back to haunt her in a major and public way.

In reference to the release date, we have some very exciting news to share with you! Netflix revealed their movie lineup for the autumn 2022 season on August 30th, and the drama picture was one of the titles on the list. The streaming service revealed that the premiere of “Luckiest Girl Alive” will take place on Netflix on the seventh of October in 2022.
However, on September 30 it will be made available to the public for the first time in theaters. You may, as always, anticipate that the movie will become available on Netflix on October 7 at midnight Pacific Time (PT) and three hours ahead of Eastern Time (ET).
