Canadian-born American actress Xochitl Gomez will be playing Dawn Schafer in the upcoming Netflix reboot of The Baby-Sitters Club.
She began performing in musical theater at the age of five, and her professional acting career kicked off with the release of the film Interwoven in 2016. She prefers to support initiatives that have an impact on society.
She is much like the character Dawn in that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind in public, but she considers Dawn to be more courageous than she is.

During her COVID-19 quarantine, she plans to relax at home with a good book. After completing production on the pilot episode of The Baby-Sitters Club, Xochitl decided to finally have her ears pierced. In the next season, assuming there is one, she may be wearing earrings.
She thinks the substance of TV programs is significant since most kids nowadays learn by watching TV. She appreciates the series’ emphasis on good values like companionship, loyalty, and trust.

At age 5, Xochitl Gomez began her acting career. Since her mother was usually at work when she was a child, she enrolled in a music theater program to keep herself busy.

In 2019, she had appearances in You’re the Worst, Shadow Wolves (as Chucky), Gente-fied on Netflix, and Roped (as Emma). On the Disney Channel, she appeared in a pair of episodes of Raven’s Home.
