On the afternoon of Tuesday, a lady was shot just outside a grocery store on White Plains Highway. This occurred only a few feet distant from the subway stop that was the location of the shooting of two teenagers on Monday night.
According to the New York City Police Department, shots were fired shortly after 5:30 p.m., & a 37-year-old lady was struck in the back of the neck from a bullet that struck her as she was standing close to the junction of White Plains Boulevard and Arnow Avenue.
At this time, the victim, who is 37 years old, is in a stable state of health at Jacobi Hospital, where it is anticipated that she will make a complete recovery.
