When Is Blue Exorcist: Season 3 Coming Out? What Is The Plot Of It?

It has been six years since the release of a new season of the dark fantasy anime about Satan’s offspring, and it appears that we will have to wait even longer than we did for the second season before getting our hands on the next one.

Blue Exorcist: Season 3 is a very intriguing example for a number of reasons, the primary one being that despite the fact that the anime is a classic and has a sizable fan base, the renewal rate for the series is relatively low.

Miraculously, after more than half a decade has passed, it has been officially announced that production on Blue Exorcist: Season 3 will begin soon. Given that the statement did not include any specific details regarding the nature of the forthcoming “animation project,” my best guess is that it will be a third season.

There is still a great deal about this project that is unknown. One of the biggest questions is whether or not it will be a third season, as the odds are that it will be, or whether it will be a complete new beginning for the series. But before we do that, let’s first speculate on both of the alternatives and what we know about them.

When Is Blue Exorcist: Season 3 Coming Out?

The date that Blue Exorcist Season 3 will become available to stream online has not yet been disclosed. Given that it is already in the process of being produced, the fall of 2023 or the winter of 2023 certainly look like promising broadcast dates.

When Is Blue Exorcist: Season 3 Coming Out?

It has always been baffling as to why it takes years for the anime to return, despite the fact that there is a significant amount of source material and a large audience.

There were enough manga chapters to make a third season once the Kyoto Saga (Season 2) of the anime had finished broadcasting. It’s bad that it took this long, but at least we can say for sure that it’s true now.

The Plot For Season 3 Of Blue Exorcist

The plot of the manga Ao no Exorcist, which was written by Kazue Kat, is continued in The Blue Exorcist. The protagonists of the book are a pair of brothers named Rin and Yukio Okumura who are both human and demonic in their demonic halves.

Rin, who makes excellent use of the blue flame inherited from his father, is the story’s primary protagonist and focal point.

His father is none other than Satan, the famed lord of the demons who rules over Gehenna, the kingdom of hell.

Because of his Blue flames, Rin is subjected to a significant amount of discrimination. Yukio, on the other hand, is very convoluted and does not possess his father’s qualities.

After the murder of Rin’s foster father at the hands of his evil birth father, Rin made a solemn promise to avenge himself. Yukio follows Rin closely while she attends True Cross Academy to bolster her abilities in preparation for a battle against the demons.

Rin makes the decision to study to become an exorcist and to join the Knights of the True Cross in order to be able to assist his new allies in their struggle against evil.

The Plot For Season 3 Of Blue Exorcist

The Blue Exorcist Illuminati plotline from the manga will be the primary focus of the third season of the anime series The Blue Exorcist. Despite the fact that there is no official confirmation, it is possible that Season 3 will be divided into two parts. This claim is backed by the tempo and length of the tale in the manga. In the Illuminati arc of the manga, the villainous organisation known as the Illuminati plays a significant role. They’re going to get themselves embroiled in a lot of questionable activities. Nonetheless, their primary purpose is to resurrect Satan from the dead. Lucifer, the most dangerous of the demons and also known as the King of Light, is in control of the crew.

Fan Theories

The Vatican is being a bit theatrical, but it’s true that Rin is a demon with Exorcist ambitions. The Impure King’s toxic gas would have destroyed the earth, poisoning every human within miles and bringing down all the Exorcists, bringing about the end of the planet.

However, this did not occur because Rin stepped in and risked his own life, and he still must go on trial to determine whether or not he would be executed for his “uncontrollable” Blue Flames. With the support of so many upstanding members of the True Cross Order, Rin is guaranteed to escape with his life, but closely monitored for any sign of disloyalty.

Fans are sceptical that Angel A. Arthur will remain in power for long, and others worry that he may eventually turn evil himself. Besides, Angel would have to relinquish his title (which, outside of Yukio’s unusual circumstance, only happens after death) for Rin to succeed him as Pallidin.

Fan Theories

Angel looks the most involved in expelling Rin from the True Cross Order, so expect an epic confrontation between the young demon slayer and the Palladin.

Mephisto Pheles seems to hope only for his half-prosperity, brother’s though fans should take the Trickster’s words with a grain of salt.

With the wall between Assiah and Gehenna already down, viewers of this Shonen Anime should anticipate a good deal more cross-dimensional travel in the episodes to come.

The obvious choice would be Rin, but because we’ve previously seen Yukio’s demonic side, he’s just as likely to follow in Rin’s footsteps.

Many viewers of Blue Exorcist are sceptical that Yukio will continue on the straight road; he has his own demons to fight, and he has already proved he is vulnerable to evil influences.

Which Studio Is Making Blue Exorcist: Season 3?

A-1 Pictures is expected to produce Blue Exorcist Season 3. The first two seasons of the anime were released 6 years apart, which may seem unlikely, yet both seasons were produced by the same company, A-1 Pictures.

You can assume A-1 Pictures will animate the next project unless you hear otherwise. The studio’s previous works include the critically regarded The Seven Deadly Sins (Seasons 1 & 2),

Sword Art Online, and Fate/Apocrypha, and its most recent work, Blue Exorcist, has received high recognition, especially for its attention to visual detail. If they were to bring back the series, even if it was a remake, I really doubt anyone would object.
