What Have Todd And Julie Chrisley Been Charged With?
After being found guilty in a tax fraud case involving 30 million dollars, Todd was given a sentence of 12 years in jail, while Julie was given a sentence of seven years in prison.

The indictment of the couple by the Georgia Department of Revenue on various counts of tax evasion and bank fraud was depicted to take place in August 2019, during the seventh season of their reality series.
They handed themselves in within the same month and were released after posting a bond of one hundred thousand dollars.
In spite of the looming legal situation, the show has been picked up for an eighth season. The couple eventually reached a settlement with the Georgia Department of Revenue, but they continued to face several allegations from the federal government, including avoidance of taxes.
They were accused of taking out $30 million in fraudulent loans, and a federal court convicted them guilty of the charges against them.
Even before they became reality TV stars, the pair was accused of exploiting the money to fund their lavish lifestyle, which was one of the accusations made by the prosecutors. Attorneys suggested that Todd and Julie should be suspected of using a production company to conceal money from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Who Is Mark Braddock And How Is He Involved?
Mark Braddock, who was one of the witnesses that testified against the couple, contributed to the already high level of drama that the couple was already experiencing.
Mark Braddock, who had worked for Todd Chrisley previously and was no longer associated with him in any capacity, disclosed that he had engaged in a homosexual relationship with Todd Chrisley during the early 2000s, even though both of them were still married to their respective partners at the time.
He informed the jury that he had not only witnessed the crimes committed by the Chrisleys but that he had also participated in the commission of those crimes.
In exchange for his testimony, however, he was granted immunity from prosecution.
