The espionage music from Double Agents is playing again now that a fresh season of The Challenge has begun.
MTV revealed the season 37 theme, cast, and launch date on Wednesday. The first episode of The Challenge: Spies, Lies, and Allies will show on Monday, August 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with the series premiere airing the following Wednesday, August 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
All 19 episodes of the new season were filmed in Croatia. Though the first few games of this season will have American players/”agents” paired with foreign players/”agents,” EW has verified that the format will change during the season. As before, the grand prize is a staggering $1,000,000 USD.
Out of a total of 34 cast members, 19 are newcomers from other reality programs while just 15 are returning regulars. The winner from last season, CT Tamburello, is back (his partner, Amber Borzotra, isn’t listed, but she appears in the trailer below), as are Fessy Shafaat (who quit in the final), his partner, Kaycee Clark (who didn’t quit the final despite suffering a major leg injury), Aneesa Ferreira (who competed on Double Agents and All-Stars in a short period of time), and pot-stirrer Amanda When it comes to the newcomers, past Survivor winners have proven to be formidable foes.
When Does Season 37 Of The Challenge Premiere On MTV?
