We are so, so, so close to seeing the return of Demon Slayer on television. Now in theatres is a film that connects the stories set in the Entertainment District with Swordsmith Village.

After that, on April 9, we’ll be following Tanjiro and his companions Zenitsu and Inosuke once again as they continue their quest to rid the world of demons. There will also likely be the introduction of both new allies and adversaries.

This guide to the third season of Demon Slayer, often known as the Swordsmith Village arc, is intended to help you prepare for what’s to come. More information on when the Ufotable anime will premiere, what it will look like, or even which chapter of a book will be adapted is available here.

A Date For The Premiere Of Season 3 Of “Demon Slayer” Has Not Yet Been Set

Season 3 of Demon Slayer premieres on April 9, however you can catch the first episode now if you want.

To a select audience, the film Demons Slayer: Kimetsu na Yaiba -To to Swordsmith Village- Tour has recently debuted in theatres.

The feature film will consist of the first episode of the Swordsmith Village arc (an hour-long special, no less) plus episodes 10 and 11 from the prior season’s Entertainment District arc.

It wasn’t until earlier this year that we got our first look at the upcoming third season of Demon Slayer.

But, the sizzle trailer does have some new footage, including shots of the Love or Mist Hashira on their own and of a new sword (which Tanjiro uses) being forged in the Swordsmith Village. Just above, you’ll find the complete video.

The second trailer is a far more extensive preview of the Swordsmith Villages arc, with fresh footage and hints of new allies and adversaries, and you can watch it in the linked video below. You can also watch the season’s OP (opening), which features music by Man With a Purpose and Milet.

In Third Season Of “Demon Slayer,” What Goes Down In Swordsmith Village?

The Swordsmith Villages Arc of Demon Slayer Third season has begun. There will be no surprises here, but we think it will cover manga chapters 100–127.

Given that the Entertainment District Arc spanned episodes 70–99, we can expect a same range of episodes this season, making it once again a 12-episode run at the very most.

Tanjiro, barring any extraordinary circumstances, will go to Swordsmith Town to acquire a new sword. Lucky for them, an antique weapon has been discovered in the community. But, the Love or Mist Hashiras, as well as possibly some Upper Rank demons, complicate things further.

In a broader sense, the direction the show will likely go after season 3 of Demon Slayer was hinted at by the conclusion of the third season, which took place in the Entertainment District.

He suggested that Tanjiro would make a good successor for him at Hashira and he told Iguro as much. The Demon Slayers’ ultimate goal, Muzan Kibutsuji, is within striking distance at that point.

What Are The New Demons And Characters On “Demon Slayer?” Season 3?

In the Swordsmith Village arc, fans may look forward to seeing the return of Tanjiro (Yuki Hanae), Zenitsu (Kiyoshi Shimono), Inosuke (Yoshitsugu Organization is dedicated), and Nezuko (Akari Kitou).

Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, and Mitsuri Kanoji, the Love Hashira, are joined by two more characters we’ve seen briefly throughout the story.

Moreover, the Hashiras and the Twelve Higher Moons/Twelve Kibuki will continue to make appearances in subsequent seasons. It has been confirmed that Doma, an Upper Moon, will be appearing in season 3 of Demon Slayer.

And an actual sketch of the enemy has been revealed. It will be directed by Haruo Satozaki, with Akira Matsushima handling character design.
