Will There Be A Season 2 Of “The Glory?”

Netflix has split The Glory into two parts, like they did with Stranger Things season 4, and while many viewers (myself included) would have preferred to binge the entire series in one sitting, this decision seems to be in keeping with the trend of recent releases.

A similar choice was made with the Korean version of Money Heist, which saw the first 6 episodes cancelled in 2022 and the remaining episodes pulled… six months earlier, by which time most fans had forgotten about it. Thankfully, the streamer isn’t going to use the same strategy with the upcoming return of The Glory.

It has been announced by Netflix that the last eight episodes of The Glory will be released on March 10. This is less then two months away. The streamer has also provided early look photographs of the release.

Author Kim Eun-sook described the second installment as “refreshingly fulfilling and unexpectedly intense” in a news release announcing the news.

To which An Gil-ho, the film’s director, “When Dong-eun and Yeon-jin start fighting, the action really picks up, and the bad guys end up dying in spectacular fashion. Keep your eyes glued to the screen, because you won’t want to miss a second of it. Everything in the narrative will eventually come full circle.”

Does ‘The Glory,’ Part 2 Include A Teaser?

Yes! The first official season 2 teaser trailer has been released on Netflix, and it features a face-to-face meeting involving Dong-eun and Yeon-jin. In a lighthearted tone, Yeon-jin says, “Forgiveness? To whom is forgiveness due?

Nothing that I did was improper.” In response, Dong-eun (and by extension, the rest of the clip’s viewers) says, “Is everything okay? Really?

The following sequence of glimpses reveals the subsequent stages of Dong-plot, eun’s as well as a possible flashback that clarifies earlier events.

In this scene, we see Yeon-jin pound on Hyun-car nam’s door (Let her alone!), someone spill a bag filled with cash onto such a tabletop, a car wreck, and a fire. An image of a bloodied Myeong-ho suggests that we will soon learn whether or not Yeon-jin murdered him.

A two-minute film in which Dong-eun narrates her “final letter” to Yeon-jin was uploaded by Netflix as a promo for the upcoming second installment.

A voiceover from the vengeful heroine describes the crazy victory dance she plans to execute, and brief shots show us Yeo-jung (Lee Do-hyun) weeping in a car and Hyun-nam (Yeom Hye-ran) brutally beaten and locked away. Dong-eun also yells, “Stop laughing like that,” at an unseen character.

Dong-eun says to Yeon Jin, “Sweet Yeon Jin, who I’ve longed to kill, here is my final letter to you,” as the trailer cuts to black.

Can You Imagine What Might Happen In The Sequel To “The Glory”?

After being bullied herself, Dong-eun spent the first 8 episodes sowing strife among her old tormentors. With information that could ruin Sa-job ra’s and Hye-planned jeong’s nuptials, she has blackmailed both of them.

Because Jae-joon is Ha Ye-biological sol’s father, he plans to use his knowledge of the fact to gain custody of his daughter by causing trouble in the marriage of Yeon-jin and Do-young.

However, Myeong-oh has not yet been located; his dubious business ties with Sa-ra & Jae-joon may ultimately prove to be the undoing of all three of them, given that he has now been reported missing.

Dong-eun, meanwhile, has assembled a team consisting of the innately skilled spy Hyun-nam and the sworn executioner Yeo-jung to help her carry out the remainder of her revenge.

After finding that his spouse was a cruel bully who cheated on him during their marriage, Do-young may even turn to her side. She explains that he is crucial to her plot to completely destroy Yeon-jin in their tense meeting that serves as a cliffhanger.

And in true melodramatic fashion, that’s not even the conclusion of the complications presented in The Glory.

Despite our newfound understanding of Yeo-past, jung’s we still don’t sure if the attractive physician can overcome his anger over his father’s death. Instead, he looks to be putting his desire for revenge into aiding Dong-eun, a course of action that could prove fatal to both of their spirits.

Hyun-nam, who stands to lose her child if Dong-eun fulfils their pact and murders her violent husband, is another mystery. They had another victim, Yoon So-hee, who had died before they started harassing Dong-eun, and her death is likewise a mystery.

Dong-plan eun’s is likely to end with a huge body count and even some heartbreaking fatalities if Yeon-jin actually did kill her and subsequently killed Myeong-oh as he threatened to reveal her.
