Some people adhere to the adage “it’s better to be safe than sorry.” At least, that’s what “Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious” proponent Seiya believes. Ristarte, a clumsy goddess who was called upon to rescue a “S” category world, paid no attention to Seiya’s character traits when she made her selection.
Seiya is extremely powerful, but he also has a strong conscientious streak. The bulk of his time is devoted to practising for future battles. Then, when it’s time for the fight, he employs brute power to knock out his opponents, no matter how small they are.
The 2019 release of the anime adaptation of “Cautious Hero,” based on a collection of Japanese light novels by Light Tuchihi & drawn by Saori Toyota, sparked a significant increase in the series’ popularity.
It was named one of the top five Fall anime of that year by Anime News Network. It was praised for its parody of the tired cliches that populate the isekai genre. Although “Cautious Hero” has proven to be a hit, the show has not been renewed for a second season.
Still, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too high just yet, as a second season isn’t completely out of the question. This is everything we known so far about Season 2 in the event that it happens.
When Can We Expect To See The Second Season Of Cautious Hero?
The true desire is, as always, a release date. And, of course, nothing in anime is ever that easy. Despite the lack of official confirmation for Season 2 of “Cautious Hero,” White Fox has plenty to keep them busy without the show.
Following the conclusion of “Cautious Hero,” company studio moved on to animate other works, such as the “Goblin Slayer” film and “Re:Zero,” both of which went on to complete their respective second seasons.
The studios (or the show’s distributors) should at least reveal whether or not Season 2 of “Cautious Hero” is in production. It’s possible that the lack of comment from White Fox raises doubts about the feasibility of a Season 2.
If “Cautious Hero” will ever be released again, only time can tell. As a stopgap measure, readers can always pick up any manga and light novels based on the “Cautious Hero” series.

Who Will Return For The Second Season Of Cautious Hero, And What Roles Will They Play?
If Season 2 of “Cautious Hero” does really premiere, at least viewers won’t have to wait to find out who will be playing their favourite roles. According to the happenings of Season 1, it appears that the main characters (and their voice actors) will return for Season 2.
If that’s the case, as well as the production doesn’t make any major cast changes, then these are the actors that will likely be in Season 2 of “Cautious Hero.”
The voice actors who portray Ristarte and Seiya, who together form the backbone of the humorous chemistry in “Cautious Hero,” are virtual locks to return for a second season.
Aki Toyosaki and Yuuichiro Umehara are both well-established names in the anime industry, having worked on such well-known series as “K-On!!” and “Goblin Slayer,” correspondingly (via Myanimelist). Actors Shiori Izawa (Adenella), Ai Fairouz (Valkyrie), & Atutsi Ono are also set to return (Cerseus).

When Will Season 2 Of Cautious Hero Air, And What Will It Entail?
The S-ranked planet for which Seiya got summoned was saved after our heroes killed evil Demon Lord of Gaeabrande. Seiya was revived for a third time when he sacrificed himself to vanquish the Demon Lord, and he and Ristarte were given a new world to preserve.
After learning that they had been lovers in a previous life, Seiya & Ristarte were tasked with saving the planet of Ixphoria, which they had previously failed to do.
A quick read of the previews for the next light novels suggests that this time around things won’t be the same (via Cautious Hero Wiki). As Seiya & Ristarte had previously tried and failed to preserve it, it was given the “SS” threat level.
In addition, Seiya’s new profession is that of a bard who plays the flute. Seiya’s fight that would save Ixphoria would be something that no other he has seen before, as he will be using his new capabilities in a (kind of) completely new environment. Nonetheless, neither of them is deterred. Care and forethought are all that is needed to accomplish the task at hand.

Conclusion
Many anime watchers would be overjoyed by confirmation of a second season of the Shinchou Yuusha anime, but we’ll have to wait a while longer to find out for sure. In a year, we’ll know the answer.
