An anime series, Overlord, was created after a series of light novels with the same title. The novel Overlord was written by Kugane Maruyama, while the drawings were done by So-bin.
Premiere of Season 4 took place on May 8, 2021. The television broadcast of the anime series lasted from July 5 to September 27. For the intro, Mayu Maeshima gave the song “No Man’s Dawn,” while for the outro, OXT’s “Hollow Hunger” served as the theme music.

Overlord Season 4 Final Episode
Renner’s demon form was revealed in an unexpected way in the season 4 finale of Overlord. She asks Climb to pledge his allegiance to Ainz and spend all of hell with her, and Climb agrees. Renner, whom Albedo lauds, confesses that Albedo surrendered Re-Estize to Ainz on purpose so that she may live forever.
Renner reveals her dark side by getting ready to make Climb eternal before having sexual relations with him. Relieved that they will be able to spend eternity together. When Albedo comes to see Phillip, he shows him the severed heads of his friends and colleagues. Then, Albedo says that before he passed away, his father urged him to punish Phillip for his own greed and ignorance, which led to the destruction of the entire kingdom.
Inside the destroyed city, Ainz meets with Marquis Raeven and the nobles of his group. As a reward for their allegiance, he gives them the captured area to rule as vassals of the Sorcerous Kingdom. This outcome satisfies Ainz since he believes the world has learned its lesson and will never again try to stand in his way.

Is Any film adaptation of Overlord planned?
In May of 2017, Studio Madhouse announced that they would be making a full-length film based on their comic book series Overlord. The anime has already spawned two movies, but this new adaptation will not rehash the prior films. An unknown story from Volumes 12 and 13 will be included in the third film in the series (The Holy Kingdom Arc).
After Season 4’s successful conclusion, the studio announced on its official Twitter account that filming had begun on the “Holy Kingdom Arc” movie adaptation. The makers of the film, however, have not revealed when it will be shown to the public. Since production on the film has already begun, we should have additional details by year’s end, with an official release date set for 2023.
It’s safe to presume that a year would be enough time for the studio to finish the picture. Considering it’s a movie and not an entire season. This is, of course, merely speculation, and we won’t know for sure when the release will occur until we hear it from the designers themselves.
Overlord Season 5’s storyline
Season 5’s plot centres on the Elven realm. Ainz wants to take a break after the destruction of the Kingdom. He revealed in season 4 that he would like Aura and Mare to learn more about Elves.
Ainz and his twins go on vacation to the Elven Kingdom. However, the Slane Theocracy launches an attack on the Elven monarch out of concern that Ainz may join forces with the Elves, weakening their position in the struggle against the Sorcerer Kingdom.
When Will Overlord Season 5 Be Released?
There has been no confirmation of when Season 5 will premiere. Season 5 has been delayed, but according to a tweet from the show’s production company. We’ll be receiving a movie sequel instead that will focus on the Holy Kingdom Arc. Sometime in 2023, the film will debut in cinemas and on streaming services.
However, the production studio may be waiting for the release of the story’s 17th volume to continue translating it into additional seasons, given the excellent reception of the audience and a decent rating on My Anime List. Be at ease; there is a wealth of potential material for animation in the years to come. Therefore, all we can do is wait patiently for Overlord season Five.
