One Punch Man season 3: Everything We Know So Far

The audience has been taken on a roller coaster ride by One Punch Man and the expansive universe it inhabits during the show’s two seasons.

Because the manga is so well-known, it is safe to presume that the animation companies Madhouse and JC Staff have spared no effort in bringing ONE and Yusuke Murata’s drawing to life. This assumption is based on the contents of the manga.

Chikashi Kubota, the official character designer for the One Punch Man anime, has stated unequivocally that there will be a third season of the show. This piece of news is sure to excite fans of the series. On the other hand, formal information regarding the animation studio is currently unavailable.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Release Date

Since July 3, 2009, ONE has been posting new episodes of the original web series, which he writes and draws himself, on his own website. Since the 14th of June in 2012, the web magazine Tonari no Young Jump has been hosting serialisations of the translation of the manga series illustrated by Ysuke Murata.

An exchange that took place on Murata’s Twitter page, in which the author expressed interest in working with ONE, served as the impetus for the creation of this adaptation.

The series is distributed in countries other than Japan through the digital magazine Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha, which is put out by VIZ Media. This magazine is available in North America.

In March 2015, it was revealed that Young Jump magazine would be adapting the manga into an anime series. Shingo Natsume served as the show’s director for the first season, which was produced by the Madhouse studio and based on a screenplay written by Tomohiro Suzuki.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Release Date

The first episode of the series was broadcast on October 5, 2015 in Japan. Along with the DVDs and Blu-rays, there are also six OVAs that have been made available. In Japan, the eleventh volume of the manga was accompanied by an original video animation (OVA).

In September of 2016, it was revealed that there would be a second season. It premiered on April 9, 2019, and ended on July 2, 2019, and was produced by the J. C. Staff studio. The show featured a total of twelve episodes.

An announcement that there will be a third season of the One-Punch Man anime was made by Murata himself in the August issue of the manga, putting an end to years of debate over the franchise’s future.

The amount of information that is currently available regarding the series is quite limited, and other than a picture, we do not have any further details.

Regarding the possibility of a release date, we believe that One-Punch Man could come out at around the same time the following year.

This is the typical amount of time that passes between an anime’s announcement and its first broadcast, but given that we do not actually have any idea how far along production is, our estimate could be off by a little bit. Whatever the case may be, the year 2023 or 2024 is a lock, barring the occurrence of significant setbacks in the years to come.

It is far too soon for a full trailer at this point. Since the production of One-Punch Man’s third season has been confirmed, we are aware that a trailer will be released in the near future; however, the exact timing of this event is unknown to us.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Trailer

Now, as to when we might be able to see a trailer, the best-case scenario would be for it to come out in late 2022 or early 2023. However, given that the new season was announced in August 2022, we’ll have to wait for more information to confirm an official date for its release before we can make that determination.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Plot

Because we do not know how many volumes of the light novel the third season of One-Punch Man may potentially adapt, we do not know where the third season of One-Punch Man could potentially take us at this time.

To be more specific, because there is a general dearth of information, we do not have the slightest idea as to how far the second season might go when it first airs. What is going to follow is an overview of the source material, which is going to indicate what aspects of the source material have the potential to be translated into a second season of the show.

Saitama is a youthful hero who wears a cloak and has a bald head. He makes his home in the city of Z, which is home to a wide variety of monsters that can cause damage. He merely became a hero as a side project in his spare time.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Plot

After becoming helpless in the face of a monster one day, he committed himself to rigorous training for three years (by his own admission, 100 squats, 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, and a 10 km run a day, plus no air conditioning in the summer and no heating in the winter).

Saitama now possesses powers that are unfathomably impressive, and he can vanquish his adversaries with a single blow in every fight. The rigorous training was responsible for the bald spot on his head.

When the cyborg Genos encounters him, he immediately becomes Saitama’s disciple, full of awe and respect for the latter’s abilities. Genos is on a mission to track down the cyborg that was responsible for the destruction of his hometown and the deaths of his parents.
