North Jersey man Tamir Styles Detained For Murder In New York City

Last month, the police in Washington Heights, New York, apprehended the suspect in a drug-related homicide.

On Wednesday, Franklin Township, New Jersey police officers located and arrested 45-year-old Tamir Styles on charges of drug possession.

Somerset, New Jersey resident Styles waived extradition and was returned to the city for his arraignment, where he was ordered jailed without bail.

On the evening of February 15, someone in a passing SUV allegedly opened fire, killing Charbel Azouki, 44, in the Bronx.

Tamir Styles Arrested For Murder

A 45-year-old man from Somerset has been arrested and accused in connection with the death of Carbel Azouki, 44, who was found shot to death in Upper Manhattan on February 15.

The assault occurred on Riverside Drive at W. 163rd St., and the victim was hit in the head and chest, according to the police. Several cellphones and a drug bag were at his side.

The doctors at Lincoln Hospital tried desperately to save Azouki, but they were unable.

According to the police report, he had been arrested for drugs once before.

All six of Styles’s convictions took place in New Jersey, and four of those were for drug-related offences.

Murder and two charges of criminal possession of a weapon have been filed against Tamir Styles by the NYPD.

Also, they said that Styles shot and wounded Azouki in the head and chest at around 10 p.m. on February 15.
