The murder-suicide of a West Tennessee couple has been updated by the Nashville police department.
The two Shelby County residents Irene Bond, 45, and Geremy Causey, 31, were found in a Nashville hotel room on 4th Avenue North on Monday, according to the police.
Police said they discovered Causey with what appeared to be self-inflicted wounds and a semi-automatic weapon nearby. Bond, who was dating Causey, was apparently shot and killed, according to investigators.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is conducting an investigation into what seems to be a murder-suicide that occurred at a hotel in the downtown area of Nashville.
The murder-suicide was said to have taken place on Monday afternoon at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel located on 4th Avenue North, according to the police. It is thought that the victims were a West Tennessee couple consisting of a boyfriend and girlfriend.
In Tuesday, the bodies of a young couple were discovered on a farmland located close to Aldur in Chikkamgaluru talk. Poorvika, 19, of Hanabalu in Sakleshpur in the nearby Hassan district, and Darshan, age 21, both of Kallugudde in Mallandur in Chikkamagaluru talk, have been identified as the deceased.
Poorvika was engaged in a factory in Mangaluru, while Darshan was working in an estate in the same city. The investigation revealed that both parties were romantically involved. On the other hand, it is unclear why they chose to take their own lives.
Their family members have been notified by the police. The incident has been reported to the Aldur Police Department.

Champion Golfer Found Dead After Vanishing Mysteriously A Week Before, TN Cops Say
Police in Tennessee said that the body of a golf champion who had been reported missing was located after his community had spent nearly a week looking for him there.
According to a news release issued by the Mt. Juliet Police Department, John Swoboda, who is 29 years old, was last seen on Wednesday, December 7.
According to the authorities, he did not take his phone, his identification, or any spare clothes with him when he left his house in Mt. Juliet, and his disappearance occurred under “strange” circumstances.
The department announced on the 12th that they had located Swoboda deceased in Nashville, and the police in Nashville are conducting an inquiry into his death at this time.
The members of Swoboda’s community searched the neighbourhood extensively in the days preceding up to the discovery of his body in the hopes of finding him.
The police department issued a statement saying, “Our hearts go out to everybody who knew and loved him.”
According to the official records of the championship, Swoboda was victorious in the 2017 USGA Tennessee State Amateur Championship golf tournament. In addition to that, GolfWeek acknowledged him as the 2018 National Tour Champion.
During the hunt for her son, Swoboda’s mother expressed her hope that her son was aware of the amount of affection that was directed at him.
Following the news that Swoboda had passed away, one of his friends, Tyler Cox, expressed his sorrow by saying, “It’s really tragic that we will never play another game of golf together.”
