The first season of Lucifer aired on Fox from January 25 to April 25, 2016, the second season aired from September 19 to May 29, 2017, and the third season aired from October 2 to May 28, 2018. The fourth season of Netflix’s Lucifer debuted on May 8th.

Lucifer Season 5 will premiere on Netflix on August 21st, 2020, and conclude on May 28th, 2021. On September 10, 2021, Netflix premiered the sixth season of Lucifer.

Lucifer Season 7: Storyline

When the show first began, the sixth season was meant to be its final outing. Instead of a season finale, the show’s production team decided to call it instead. Fifth-season storyline centers on a dissatisfied and bored Ellis Lucifer as Lord of Hell. He renounces his kingship and moves to Los Angeles to assist LAPD detective Chloe Decker after resigning from his position.

Secrets would be revealed and beloved characters would die in the upcoming fifth season. For the seventh and sixth seasons, the plot has been kept a secret. There have been rumors that the sixth season’s storyline will follow the same path as the fifth season. Until the seventh season’s trailer is released, it looks like we’ll have to wait.

Isn’t Lucifer Season 7 happening?

Season 6 marks the end of Lucifer for fans. Sadly. Despite the show’s original season 5 cancellation, Netflix decided to order a sixth season, which the streaming service claims are the show’s final season.

It was decided that Lucifer’s producers and cast would sign on for a 10-episode season 6 in order to wrap things up. No matter how much Netflix orders a movie or a miniseries in the future, there’s no sign of a full-blown Lucifer season 7 in the immediate future.
