At this point, you’re undoubtedly looking everywhere for any new information regarding the possibility of a second season of Lockwood & Co.

The young adult novel series written by Jonathan Stroud that bears the same name as the television series is being adapted for the small screen as Lockwood & Co.
The story focuses on three young people, all of them are under the age of 18, who are paranormal investigators and run their own psychic detection agency in London, England without any adult supervision. The three friends work together to investigate and fight the evil spirits that are tormenting their town.
The roles of the three ghost hunters are played by Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati, all of whom previously starred in Bridgerton.
In addition to Ivanno Jeremiah and Luke Treadaway, Morven Christie, Jack Bandeira, Ben Crompton, Hayley Konadu, and Rhianna Dorris are also a part of the cast. Paddy Holland is also a participant.
So, does Netflix have plans to produce a second season of Lockwood & Co.? This is what we currently know.
Lockwood & Co season 2 Potential Release Date
After a new programme has debuted on Netflix, the streaming service will often make an announcement regarding its renewal within one or two months. However, the production process for a show can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to complete.
If Lockwood & Co. is fortunate enough to receive that sweet, sweet renewal announcement, then the second season of the show will most likely premiere in the spring of 2024.
However, Netflix has recently been on what can only be described as a cancellation binge, so in order for the adaptation to have a chance of coming back for further instalments, it will need to pull in some substantial viewing figures.

Lockwood & Co Season 2 Plot
The conclusion of the first story arc of Lockwood and Company left a few questions unsolved. The most pressing of these concerns is this: what actually became of Lockwood’s parents?
The fact that they have both passed away is revealed to us at the beginning of the episode; yet, Anthony’s run-in with the Golden Blade provides a clue that there is far more to their history than meets the eye.
Even Anthony does not have a clear understanding of everything that is occurring right now.
The other major story point that necessitates an explanation is the enigmatic room that Lockwood keeps upstairs.
Throughout the entirety of the current season, he has kept it under lock and key and has repeatedly cautioned the others not to make any attempt to look inside. However, after eight episodes have passed, Anthony thinks that it is time to let his comrades in on the secret he has been keeping from them all along.
Unfortunately, the credits begin to roll just as the door begins to open, so for the time being, the contents of this room will continue to be a mystery.
Either Lockwood is trying to shield the others from something that is potentially harmful that is hidden inside, or he is trying to hide something that is really embarrassing.
We are placing our bets on the second possibility, but it is yet unclear what this could be. It’s possible that there’s a portal of some type, or perhaps there’s another magical artefact that’s in some way even more perilous than the mirror.
Or, there’s always the remote possibility that Lockwood’s parents have been mummified and hidden in that room all along. At this point, anyone’s guess is as good as another’s.
