Julie and the Phantoms: On September 10, 2022, Netflix will begin streaming the American musical comedy-drama Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms, developed by Dan Cross and David Hoge. Julie and the Monsters is the inspiration for this series. The show was canceled in December of 2021 after only one season.
Those who have already seen “Julie and the Phantoms” know that executive producer Kenny Ortega is responsible for Disney Channel hits like “High School Musical” and “Descendants.”
After signing a multi-year deal with Netflix, he will begin work on the show as his first project. The musical comedy “Julie and the Phantoms” was well received by critics and audiences alike, earning a Rotten Tomatoes score of 93 percent and an Audience Score of 98 percent. Despite the show’s clear success, fans are still eagerly awaiting news of a second season’s existence.
When Will Season Two Of Julie And The Phantoms Be Released?
Season 2 of Netflix’s original series Julie and the Phantoms are eagerly awaited, given the show’s popularity. Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 has a greater chance of being released than the first season’s success.

What Happened In The Second Season Of Julie And The Phantoms?
Released in September 2020, Season One of Julie and the Phantoms was an instant hit with both children and adults alike.
At the MTV Movie & TV Awards in 2021, ‘Edge of Great’ was named Best Musical Moment for its performance of ‘Edge of Great’, beating out WandaVision, ‘Agatha All Along,’ and ‘Brown Skin Girl’ from Beyoncé’s Black Is King.
Ortega said, “I’m in love with the core” (via PopSugar). “The three ghosts she summoned into her life to share their love of music with her and form a band…come on, little girls! A smidge of Hannah Montana was evident. It sparked my imagination because it contained all of the things that compel me to take action, such as passion, mystery, magic, and excitement.”
On CinemaBlend, Shawn Williamson wrote: “[I believe there will be new possibilities in season two]. Absolutely. As a result, they’ve prepared them well for the upcoming season. Also, the showrunners were spectacular: Dan [Cross and Dave [Hoge]. And I’m confident that the second season will live up to or surpass the first one in quality.”
After that, however… nothing happened. Soon, Netflix’s social media was inundated with requests for information from irate fans, who would not relent. For more than a year and a half, there was no news about the future.
Netflix finally pulled the plug on the show in December 2021, announcing it had been canceled.
