How Long Till The Next Season Of Fortnite? This Is The New Release Date For The Product

A few hours ago, the new slated to release for Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 4 was announced. The original conclusion date on March 10, 2023 has been pushed back to March 8, 2023 for the first season of Chapter 4.

Several people at first believed this to be a scam, however it turned out to have originated from the official Fortnite Status Twitter account. There’s no word yet on why the current season will end two days early, but Epic Games made the call. There is, however, some encouraging news.

Boosted All Of The Up To Season 2, Episode 4 Of Fortnite

Many players are still much below level 150 due to this season’s modifications to XP values. There’s fewer than a month left until the Seasonal Level 200 and Battle Pass deadline, and everyone’s in a mad dash to make it there.

As the season was cut short unexpectedly, finishing a level in time will be more challenging. In order to quickly advance through all of the Seasonal Levels, players will be able to purchase a levelling pack in the near future, however this will not be free.

In order to unlock the pack, players will need to spend V-Bucks on it and then collect tokens while playing the game. The same holds true for potential purchasers of Battle Pass Tiers. The designers, though, have been thoughtful enough to allow for a shorter season if necessary.

In addition to regular XP gains, players will gain Supercharged XP with every login beginning March 2, 2023. Although this is a reasonable compromise, keep in mind that the experience bonus will wear off after just one level. Anyone planning to rely exclusively on Turbo charged XP to attain Seasonal Level 200 will be disappointed.

Hence, if you want to level up quickly, it’s important to focus on completing as many Milestones or weekly tasks as possible.

The game’s Creative Mode is great for gaining experience, and owners of Save The Planet should do the daily quests and weekly challenges that come with the expansion as often as possible.

So Why Did Entertaining Games Decide To Rush The Release Date Up?

Without an official explanation, as was previously said, only conjecture can be entertained. It’s a bit of a mystery why Season 2 of Fortnite’s fourth chapter will kick up on March 8 or 9, 2023 (dependent on players’ local times), a weekday.

When you consider that Epic Games prioritises having everyone be able to play by releasing new seasons and chapters on weekends, this seems even more strange. If we must speculate, though, it could have something to do with partnerships, especially those that are highlighted on the Battle Royale game.

Timeline-wise, only Attack on Titan Part 3 of Season 4 is set to premiere before Fortnite Chapter 4 Seasons 2 drops. This could have been brought up front because of a prospective partnership between Epic Games and the franchise in light of the fact that this is their last chance to do so before the series concludes.

But, this is just a bunch of wild guesses. Both outsiders and insiders have so far been unable to locate any references to Attack on Titan within the game’s code. But, a lot can change in the next three weeks until Fortnite Season 4 Chapter 4 begins. By the middle of 2023, we should begin to see some clarity.

Reports And Rumours About Fortnite’s Fourth Season Chapter

When it comes to season 2, Epic Games is being coy as usual, although there are a few items that we know for certain are coming, as well as some interesting rumours we aren’t so sure about.

Fortnite’s first-person mode has been in development for a while and has been leaked before, but it is not expected to be launched until season 2.

The function was implemented in the v23.30 patch and was accessible through tinkering with the game’s settings, but it was still in its early stages and prone to glitches. In that case, we anticipate the formal introduction of a fixed 1st mode in the near future, most likely with the following season 2.

Epic Games Chief Executive tim Sweeney stated on Twitter that Fortnite Creative 2.0, formerly known as Unreal Designer, had been postponed until March, neatly coinciding with the start of season 2.

Little is known about the upcoming Creative 2.0 mode, but its moniker suggests that it will be a major update to the current Fortnite Creative mode, introducing new tools like model creation, item spawning, and complete storm management.

Another much anticipated addition, the return of Fortnite to iOS, has been confirmed by Sweeney. Sweeney tweeted that Fortnite would be making a comeback to the iOS app store in the year and, presumably in season 2.

Like the Chrome Splash before it, Reality Augments could be axed and another gameplay element introduced in their place.

Shoulder switching and wall running, both of which have been highly rumoured for some time, may be added in Season 2, though specifics on both features are currently sketchy at best. If/when we hear anything concrete about a second season of Chapter 4, we’ll make sure to post it here.
