DJ Khaled Has Announced The Release Date For His New Album “GOD DID” – Get It Early Here!

DJ Khaled, already a worldwide phenomenon, is getting ready to make a new splash with the release of his thirteenth studio album, GOD DID, on Friday, August 26, 2022, via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records.
On this coming Friday, August 5, 2022, he will release the first song and music video for “Staying Alive” [with Drake & Lil Baby], kicking off the record in the most epic way imaginable (the only way he knows how!).

Naturally, it’s the latest in a long line of successful projects featuring Drake. Previous examples include the multiplatinum “POPSTAR,” the multiplatinum “For Free,” the platinum “GREECE,” and the gold-certified “To The Max,” “I’m On One” [feat. Drake, Rick Ross, & Lil Wayne], and “No New Friends” [feat. Drake, Rick Ross, & Lil Wayne].

It also continues a fruitful creative collaboration with Lil Baby that has yielded such hits as “Every Chance I Get” (with Lil Baby and Lil Durk) and “You Stay” (featuring Meek Mill, J Balvin, Lil Baby, and J Balvin), both of which have been certified platinum. But this is the first time he’s released a song featuring both Drake and Lil Baby.
The king of anthems is back with his largest, boldest, and finest body of work to date, and it’s called GOD DID.

All of 2022 was a hectic one for him. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and made headlines when he performed as the show’s opening act at the Academy Awards. He also got the crowd going at the NBA All-Star halftime show by performing alongside a slew of famous musicians. He has also hosted the Billboard Music Awards thrice.

Khaled released KHALED KHALED [We The Best Music Group/Epic Records] last year, marking his eleventh studio album overall. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, No. 6 on the Top Rap Albums chart, and No. 4 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, making it his third No. 1 overall. In addition, it was certified platinum.

Khaled and Drizzy have worked together before on the multi-platinum “POPSTAR” and “For Free,” the platinum “GREECE,” and the gold-certified “To The Max,” “I’m On One,” and “No New Friends” with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, respectively, so this new track will continue their successful partnership.

DJ Khaled’s GOD DID Features Industry Regulars

The collaboration between DJ Khaled and Drake “Staying Alive” maintains their productive partnership. Additionally, they have worked together on the multi-platinum “POPSTAR” and “For Free,” as well as the platinum “Greece” and the gold “To The Max,” “I’m On One,” and “No New Friends” singles.

By reuniting with Lil Baby, Khaled hopes to achieve the same level of success as their triple-platinum smash “Every Chance I Get.”

To what extent this song becomes another summertime “anthem” remains to be seen. He arrived too late to compete with the recent singles and albums released by Beyoncé, Burna Boy, and Drake.
