Bad Batch Season 2: Full Review Of Episode 10 And Final Thoughts

Episode 10 of Season 2 of The Bad Batch is titled “Retrieval” and can be viewed on Disney+ Hotstar. Hunt, Wreck, Tech, Echo, and Crosshair are all played by Dee Bradley Baker.

Omega is voiced by Michele Ang, and Benni and Mokko are portrayed by Yuri Lowenthal and Jonathan Lipow, respectively. A new episode of the animated Star Wars series, developed by Dave Filoni, has been produced by Steward Lee & scripted by Moises Zamora.

Episode 10 of Season 2 of The Bad Batch lasts for 27 minutes. The plot summary reads, “The Batch must gain confidence in a thief in order to reclaim a lost item.”

Episode 10 of Season 2 of The Bad Batch takes place on the abandoned planet where Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Omega have been waiting to steal Ipsium for Cid. In episode 9, their ship was stolen.

With what they can find, they attempt to build something. Gonky, according to Omega, is now on Marauder, and also the group is instructed to locate him and the ship by following his trail. Benni, the thief, is delivering the ship to a man named Mokko. Mokko fears that the ship will attract unwanted attention.

Mokko has made the decision to split it off in parts. After Benni asks, he gives the robot to him to keep (Gonky). It appears that Mokko’s troops have begun to abandon ship. The search for Gonky ends with Omega’s success.

They all started moving in the direction of the east, where they had initially received the signal. Gonky and Benni are located by everyone else. Hunter inquires of Benni of the Marauder, their spacecraft. When they ask Benni about Mokko, he gives them his full story.

Benni will not defy Mokko’s orders. Suddenly he changes his mind and offers to give them a tour of his house. From the chimney, they all venture down a perilous path into the mine wherein Mokko resides. Hunter descends and engages in combat with the robot guarding the facility. As he leads the way, everyone else follows.

Their ship is stored in the location that Benni leads them to. A tech examines the ship and discovers that perhaps the hyperdrive has already been taken out.

In addition, they have to turn off the ray barrier, which may be accomplished from the control tower. Tech provides Omega with a means of transmitting the data, and he does it by remotely accessing the shield. Benni and Omega set off to get the information.

A member of Mokko’s inner circle of employees has his access card stolen by Benni and Omega. They can enter the main building with the help of the access card.

Mokko shows up and lets everyone know that Drake has been the top earner this time around. Benni is disappointed by this news because he was hoping to earn the most money. The hyperdrive is now being repaired by Tech and Wrecker.

The Second Half Is When Things Start To Heat Up

Benni makes advantage of the key card to gain entry and aid Omega. Benni expresses to Omega his desire to be treated by Mokko in the same way that Hunter and the other members of the group treat Omega: as though she were one of them.

Benni responds to Omega’s question of why he stays by saying that he considers the town to be his home. When he asks Omega where they live, she explains that the spacecraft is their home. Benni says he’s sorry he took it. In exchange for his help in finding the ship, she offers him some of her food.

Tech explains to Hunter how Mokko’s inhumane exploitation of his employees for financial gain is reminiscent of the Imperial regime. Suddenly, a few of Mokko’s men board the ship and begin interrogating the crew. Mokko unexpectedly shows up in the Central Tower, where he thanks Benni for his assistance in nabbing Omega. Benni fills him in on where Hunters and others have been hiding out.

In order to intimidate Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker, Mokko leads his troops to the ship. He uses threats of killing Omega as blackmail. They are saved by Benni. He claims the ipsium is just not degrading and accuses Mokko of misrepresenting to the other employees.

He explains to them how Mokko is already skimming money off the top without sharing the spoils. Mokko loses his friends and is thrown far underground when they turn against him. Omega is spared thanks to Hunter.

Benni assists the Hunters and other people with the rest if their loot. Since the cosmos is so vast, Omega assures Benni he could do whatever he pleases. He is not obligated to remain here in any way.

With Mokko gone, Benni assures her, everyone will get a fair cut of the profits. Omega explains to Tech afterwards that the Empire isn’t the only danger they face. Many more dogs are just like Mokko.

Tech assures her that there are many others who share her values and will stand up for justice. On their ship, Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Omega, and Gonky have left the planet.

Conclusion

That new episode picked up right where the ninth one left off. There wasn’t much going on in this episode, thus it was essentially filler. Wrecker’s developers have yet to provide any new information. He is aware that the others are still alive but has taken no further action.
