When Did The Relationship Between Darcey Silva And Georgi Rusev Begin?
Season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before 90 Days featured Darcey and her ex-boyfriend Jesse Meester, marking Darcey’s first appearance in the franchise. The second season featured their difficult breakup. Season 3 Darcey returned with a new long-distance boyfriend, Tom Brooks, but their bond quickly crumbled as well. Season four featured their horrific breakup.
Darcey and her identical twin Stacey Silva launched their own spinoff, Darcey & Stacey, in August of 2020. Darcey had recently ended her relationship with Tom and was eager to move on when she stumbled onto Georgi in an online chat room.
Georgi was a massage therapist at the time, and she was based out of Virginia. His family emigrated to the United States from Bulgaria almost ten years ago.
Since Darcey lives in Connecticut, their first in-person meeting took place in the Big Apple. After going on a few dates with Georgi, the two were suddenly forced to deal with a problem in their long-distance relationship.

In March of 2020, the United States saw the height of the coronavirus epidemic, prompting many states to implement lockdowns in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. Darcey and Georgi, after dating for only a few weeks, decided to move in together in order to strengthen their love.
It wasn’t long after Darcey and Georgi moved in together that they started having problems. Darcey learned that Georgi was still legally wed to his ex-wife Octavia Bellinger.
He went on to explain that he had initially filed for divorce in January of 2020, but that the coronavirus outbreak in March had halted divorce proceedings across the country.
Not only did Georgi have something else to keep from his sweetheart, but he was hiding it as well. Eventually, Darcey learned that Georgi had dated another woman before she met him, and that this woman had recently given to a child.
Darcey speculated that Georgi might be the dad of his ex’s child. He said he and his ex-girlfriend did not have a child together.

When Did Darcey Silva & Georgi Rusev Become Engaged?
Despite their problems, Georgi proposed to Darcey in June of 2020, after they had been dating for four months, and she said yes, as confirmed by In Touch in October of 2020. The season one conclusion showed the couple getting engaged.
Unfortunately, the engagement did little to fix the issues in their relationship. In the second season, Georgi and Darcey were able to share some happy news: he had finally divorced Octavia.
Even though this meant Georgi could legally marry Darcey, the couple was in no hurry to tie the knot. In Darcey’s opinion, Georgi was not upfront or candid with her about his life or his past.
It was because she thought she needed to know more about him that she messaged Octavia on Facebook. At some point in the year 2020, the ladies travelled to Virginia to assist Georgi in relocating the final remnants of his stuff from his previous residence, and while there, they got together for lunch.

How Are Darcey Silva And Georgi Rusev’s Relationship Today?
Darcey and Georgi’s relationship today is cloudy, although they are still in touch thanks to Florian’s influence in both of their lives.
Season 4 of Darcey & Stacey, premiering on Monday, January 23, teased that Darcey had moved on from her previous relationship with the help of a matchmaker.
In spite of this, Florian requested Georgi to be his best man during his wedding to Stacey, therefore it is safe to assume that he will make an appearance in the future season.
When Darcey asked, “I know why you f-king came,” she and her ex-husband got into an argument. She continued by telling Stacey that she was “not OK” with Georgi’s presence at the ceremony.
Georgi’s return to their life ultimately drives a wedge between the sisters, as we learn in the sequel.
Stacey says in the preview, “This is the most difficult fight Darcey and I’ve ever had.” And I have no idea how to get over this.
