Michael Halterman and Amy Slaton have decided to divorce.
According to divorce papers filed in Kentucky on March 13, Halterman, 40, filed for divorce from the 1000-Lb. Sisters star.
The former couple, who previously eloped in 2017 and was married in 2019, got hitched again in 2019 and all of it was captured on a TLC show.
The divorce petition was filed less than a year after Slaton exclusively disclosed the birth of the couple’s second child, Glenn Allen Halterman, to PEOPLE. On July 5, they had a son by caesarean section. He weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces and was 17.5 inches long.

The battle has been won! It has been confirmed by In Touch exclusively that Michael Halterman, the husband of 1,000-pound Sisters star Amy Slaton, has filed for divorce after nearly four years of marriage and three weeks after igniting separation rumours.
According to court documents acquired by In Touch from a Kentucky court, on March 13 Michael, age 40, filed for dissolution of marriage with children against Amy, age 35.
Amy, 35, and Michael, 39, who first met in high school, got married in March 2019.

Michael filed for divorce on March 13, but his actions on season 4 of 1000-Lb Sisters have cast doubt on his sanity for months. Amy and Michael have had a rough season as they try to raise their two children and deal with the Slaton family drama.

According to the same source, Tammy has been “feeling upset” over Amy and her kids staying at her house.
Tammy and her newlywed husband Caleb Willingham, age 39, had planned to spend their honeymoon in the two-bedroom home.
Tammy reportedly feels her sister is overstaying her welcome after she first welcomed Amy into her new house.
A reliable source revealed that Tammy is “getting annoyed with Amy being over at her home with the kids.”
An insider on “The 1000 Pound Sisters” explained, “Tammy is delighted to help Amy, but feels like she is raising two kids since they are around her home all the time.”
Since Caleb isn’t around to help out, Tammy has been feeling very alone.
The pair only got married in November, but according to a source who spoke with The U.S. Sun, tensions are already rising due of the distance.
It was Caleb’s intention to move from the Ohio facility to a clinic in Kentucky so that he could be closer to his new wife, but there are still some roadblocks in the way.
A reliable source has informed us that Caleb has not yet taken the necessary steps to ensure that the transfer is covered by his insurance.
