A 15-Year-Old Boy Was Attacked With Punches, Stabs, And Gunfire On A New York City Street.

This week, authorities said a 15-year-old boy was the target of a stabbing, beating, and gunfire on a Bronx street.

At around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, police say, a gang of six men and boys approached the youngster as he stood at the intersection of Morris Avenue & East 174th Avenue in Mount Hope and began punching him.

Authorities say a single of the assailants stabbed the teen multiple times in the chest. And then, police say, a second suspect pulled out a revolver and fired at the teenager, missing him by a hair.

At the intersection of Morris Road and West 174th Avenue in Mount Hope, a horrific assault took place. Using Google Maps Because of his internal wounds, the victim was transported to Lincoln Medical Center. His status was said to be stable.

Authorities say he was the intended target of the attack, but they don’t know what prompted it or if he and the perpetrators had any prior communication.

Wednesday night, the NYPD published photographs of three suspects, all of whom look to be in their teens. There have been no arrests thus far.

Remember The Case Of Jack Woodley Murder?

On October 16th, Jack Woodley, age 18, was stabbed to death in Houghton-le-Spring by a group of young people.

CCTV footage of a confessed killer out strolling with his dad hours later was revealed before Newcastle Crown Court.

The teen admits to manslaughter but says he didn’t kill anyone. Nine further youths, ages 14 to 17, have also denied the charges of murder and manslaughter.

Mr. Woodley, a resident of Sunderland, was attacked at around 21:20 GMT by a group that, according to prosecutors, was “searching for any pretext to attack” someone.

Video surveillance captured at least 30 young people, both male and female, following Mr. Woodley from the Houghton Feast fairground in the direction of the Britannia Inn.

Mr. Woodley had been challenged to a fight by several members of the gang previously, but he had politely declined.

The court was told that a 16-year-old lad ran up and struck Mr. Woodley inside the face from behind, and that several other people quickly followed suit by punching, kicking, and stamping on his head.

The 15-year-old is seen brandishing what seems to be a knife on CCTV footage from the bar, running into the chaos before escaping a few seconds later.

Juries had previously heard that the juvenile had boasted to pals that he had previously used the “Robocop” knife to stab victims.

After the attack, surveillance cameras caught the perpetrator heading in the direction of his residence, where he was later seen dressed differently.

What A Moron!

A video was given to the jury that was filmed at about 23:20 GMT and shows the youngster and a man who prosecutors say is his father going by a residence and apparently discussing the stabbing.

We hear him say, “let’s hope he’s all right,” “stabbed a kid,” and “so foolish,” and it appears that he also says, “if the kid dies, it’s some one’s family [negatively affected]” in a second tape.

The unnamed teen admits stabbing Mr. Woodley, who received a serious knife wound to the back, but claims he had no murderous intentions.

He claimed Mr Woodley has “done nothing in particular wrong at any point” before the attack whereas some of the pupils, at least, had gone “intentionally trying to become perpetrators of violence.”

To Be Eligible For Parole, Juveniles Must Complete At Least The Following Minimum Sentences:

  • A minimum of 17 years in prison awaits the knife-wielding teen who fled to the Northeast from a community known for its gangs and knife culture.
  • The minimum sentence for the 16-year-old who carried out the attack is 13 years and six months.
  • A 17-year-old member of a gang that helped the youngster obtain the knife he used in the attack has been sentenced to a minimum of 15 years in prison.
  • The court sentenced an 18-year-old who’d been 17 at the moment and a member of the group that obtained the knife, but who he did not consider to be “especially brilliant or an evident leader,” to at minimum 15 years in prison.
  • The judge gave the then-14-year-old, now-15-year-old, defendant eight years in prison because, due to his age and low IQ, she was “never as much at fault as many of the others inside the dock.”
  • 15-year-old who “fist-bumped” victim before attack and said “get the helicopter out” should spend no less than 13 years in prison
  • Juvenile, now 15, sentenced to ten years in prison because the judge called him a “warrior” with the a record of violent conduct and a low IQ that made him “easily led.”
  • The judge ordered a 16-year-old who has been 15 at the moment to spend no fewer than 11 years in prison because he was seen on cellphone film approaching the fight while wearing a hood or mask, despite the fact that no one had identified him and he had not spoken to officers or the court.
  • A 16-year-old who’d been 15 at the time of the incident and told the court that he grappled Mr. Woodley but did not realise it was the victims and was trying to halt the attack, will spend no less than 11 years in prison.
  • An 18-year-old, who had been 17 at the time, must spend not less than 11 years in prison since the judge called it a “crying shame” that he had become “engrossed” in the issue after having surmounted a low IQ with ADHD to achieve a job that made him well-regarded.

Conclusion.

It could be considered “unfair” that the children may be granted liberty at such a young age, but the judge noted that the loss of Mr. Woodley had to be weighed against the defendants’ ages, personal situations, degree of involvement in the murder, and potential for redemption.
