A 14-Year-Old Gang Member Was Been Arrested For The Killing Of A Teen Kid On A New York City Bus

The son of a high-ranking Hudson County police official was shot on an MTA carriage in the Bronx, and on Thursday, officials and police departments sources announced that a 14-year-old gangbanger had been apprehended in connection with the shooting.

The suspect, a teenager who is a membership of the violent Mac Baller gang, was taken into custody on Wednesday night after he allegedly threatened someone at a Brooklyn bus stop with a gun, as reported by police and other sources.

A 17-year-old youngster aboard a Bx5 bus was shot dead on January 21 and he was later connected to the incident.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Story Avenue and Metcalf Road in Soundview just before 6 p.m. The victim, who is reportedly the son of Mount Pleasant Police Deputy Commissioner Jenny Lackard, was shot in the chest.

According to reports at the time, he was on the bus with two other boys, ages 12 and 10, and one kid, ages 10.

The victim, whose identity is being concealed by The Post, reportedly made gang signs at two youths who boarded the bus at the intersection of Hunts Point Road and Bruckner Boulevard.

He allegedly questioned them which gang they belonged to and then tried to drag off the bus a 14-year-old boy, according to sources.

A fight broke out, and two shots were made, one of which struck the deceased in the chest.

Police say the victim had links to the street gang Slutty Gang and three prior arrests before being transported to Jacobi General Hospital in a critical yet stable state. The prognosis for his health was positive.

Assault, unlawful use of a firearm, and reckless endangerment were among the charges levied against the defendant, whose identity was withheld due to his youth.

According to his criminal history, he has been arrested three times in New York City for robbery in the months of January, February, and March of the previous year.

He Was Last Seen In Kutztown, Pennsylvania

Jennifer Lackard, the victim’s mother, completed the 2019 session of the NYPD’s Citizen Police Academy.

According to the reports, he was apprehended when he and two other men attacked a man while he waited for a Bx8 bus at the corner of Buhre and Crosby avenues in Pelham Bay.

The three reportedly questioned the victim whether he was his brother, calling him by his brother’s name.

Following this, the 14-year-old allegedly grabbed a silver gun from his vest and threatened to kill the victim, according to the sources.

Two other suspects, it was reported, also claimed to have guns against them prior to punching the sufferer in the face.

According to the reports, the 14-year-old was apprehended around the street on Pilgrim Avenue and was charged with threats, assault, and illegal possession of a firearm.

After that, sources said, he was linked to the buses shooting because of an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

In the past, investigators located an Instagram account they believed belonged to the suspected bus gunman.

They investigated the arrest record of the suspect’s “friend,” who was also on the bus, and located a co-defendant in a robbery case who matched the description given by the suspect’s Instagram account.

According to reports, law enforcement officials interviewed the teen’s alleged companion and verified the latter’s claims about the teen’s identification.
