All Huawei smartphones that will receive EMUI 10 (Android 10) OTA update

Here are all the Huawei smartphones that will be getting Android 10-based EMUI 10 OS update.

It’s a brand new year, with a new hope for Android users to know whether will get the latest iteration of the mobile operating system or not. It’s time to review the state of the Android OS version updates of each of the smartphone brands. One of the most engrossing, especially for the current situation with the United States and China trade war is Huawei, who has already been seeding EMUI 10 to a dozen of its smartphones.

With the new year, we analyzed what are the smartphones from Huawei that have not yet received the latest version update or stable final version and that they should receive the download and installation notification through over-the-air (OTA) along these first weeks of the year 2020. The time frame makes it crystal clear that from now on it is the turn of other members of the Huawei catalogue launched nearly a couple of years ago as the Huawei P20 range and Mate 10 devices.

While some of the smartphones, including the P20 and Mate 10 series can already download and test EMUI 10 in beta version, we have not yet been able to install the final stable update on any of the devices.

That said it is quite apparent to believe that these are the following Huawei handsets that will receive the Android 10 update: P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20 Lite, P30 Lite, and Mate 10 Lite. The aforementioned models should receive EMUI 10, based on Android 10 OS, starting today and March 2020.

Taking a look at the previous update roll out timeline, since October of this last year, there are many devices of Huawei that have already received OTA update. The first Huawei smartphones to receive EMUI 10 were the models from the P30 series, while the Mate 30 have hit the shelves with the latest software pre-installed out of the box.
