Black Friday is the main gate to holiday shopping season and Walmart has incorporated a new features for the convenience of its customers. Walmart is starting its Black Friday sale at 10PM ET on November 21 with 18 Black Friday deals available exclusively online at walmart.com. That’s a couple of hours in advance than usual tradition, when it would launch the Black Friday deals online at a minute after midnight.
On Thanksgiving Day, Walmart will be holding its first-ever “Light Up Black Friday party” in-store nationwide. Walmart’s Black Friday 2018 party will take place at 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time at its location stores across the United States, will include free coffee and cookies. Walmart is anticipating to consumer around four million cups of coffee and two million cookies as part of its “Light Up Black Friday party” event. Ultimately, the in-store shopping extravaganza will start at 6 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving.
Walmart is also launching a new color-coded Black Friday 2018 Store Map feature in its mobile flagship app to help in-store customers find the certain item they eagerly want to get their hands. These Walmart associates who have a checkout device with them wears a yellow sash that remarks “Check Out with Me.” Walmart customers can have their official receipt emailed, printed, or sent via SMS.

Walmart has commenced using a “Check Out with Me” device that allows in-store customers to checkout anywhere inside the big-box retail location using a cashless payment option including debit, credit card and Walmart Pay.
