The New England Patriots superstar quarterback Tom Brady positively wants to focus on American football this 2018 National Football League (NFL) season as he seeks to stay away from dramas.

The Patriots were mixed up in crisis for the most of the last postseason and even toward the end of the 2017 after reports of chaos within the organization emerged in the press and media.

A good portion of the controversy surrounded the five-time Super Bowl champion Brady’s trainer and business partner Alex Guerrero. It was reported the Guerrero was no longer authorized to stay on the sidelines during games and had been prohibited from entering the team facilities.

The veteran quarterback Brady, however, only has a single thing on his mind heading into Patriots’ 2018 NFL regular season opener against the Houston Texans on Sunday, September 9.

“I don’t want to bring on any drama this year,” quarterback Tom Brady told reporters on Friday after he was asked a question regarding Guerrero.

“I’m just focused on what I want to do, and be a great football player for this team and be a good example in the locker room, provide great leadership. That’s where my focus is. I know people want to talk about a lot of other things but I just really want to stick on football and focus on being the best I can be for this team.”

The 13-time Pro Bowler Brady and head coach Bill Belichick did their best part to not give their respective comment on the matter but questions were repeatedly been asked and even carried on into the start of this year’s new league season.

Tom Brady cut off an interview with a radio program last week after he was persistently asked for his comment about Guerrero.

The 41-year-old Brady, who was selected by the Patriots with the 199th overall pick in the 6th round of 2000 NFL Draft, does not want to focus on that issue right now. Brady said he wants to focus on winning his 6th Super Bowl trophy..

“I really want to focus on football, not hot topics, and my reaction to a lot of hot topics and so forth,” Brady added. “Get ready for the Texans — they’re a great team. That’s where my focus is, not on advertisements and so forth.”

Brady has spent his entire 18-season professional American football career with the Patriots. Brady’s stint with the New England, is an NFL record for the longest time playing quarterback for one franchise. Since Brady became the Patriots’ starting quarterback dating way back in 2001, the franchise have never had a losing season and have won 14 division titles ever since.
