Apple fans are expecting the new iPhone lineup sometime in fall —— in 14th of September 2018 to be exact. According to German wireless carriers, that’s when pre-orders are speculated to go live for the three new iPhone models the Cupertino-headquartered technology company has planned for this year. If that date is accurate, then Apple may well reveal the smartphones at a special launch event in California a couple of days earlier.
A number of industry sources are reporting that 11 or 12 September but either way, it’d be a best idea to mark that week down in the calendar. In 2017, the tech giant announced the iPhone X along side iPhone 8 and 8 Plus on Tuesday 12 September so this would fit in perfectly with Apple’s recent history in launching its mobile devices. Thanks to a endless leaks and speculation, we already have a quite good idea of what to expect from Apple when the time approaches.
An influential YouTube Vlog DetroitBORG used the leaked information to build dummy models of the three impending iPhones to give us an look of what to expect.
One of the most interesting model of the upcoming lineup is the so-called “iPhone 9” that’s only got the single-lens camera shooter on the rear panel. This is the one that’s believed to have an LCD display and equip with a single camera in an effort to cut cost production. It’s also allegedly going to do without Touch ID and will have lower specs than the other two siblings.
What will the 2018 iPhones be called?
We’re not quite sure yet. Apple’s naming convention has been thrown into disorders because it released the iPhone X for the device’s 10th year anniversary at the same time as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Could this mean the more affordable iPhone 9 will be released alongside the iPhone Xs, 11, X2 or whatever else it will be called?
What new features and specs will the 2018 iPhones have?
It’s distinctly that we’re not going to see any significantly huge changes to the 2018 iPhones, because of the massive release of the iPhone X last year. However, one speculation suggested we will see a new coppery brown version on the shelves. Also, it seems these new iPhones models will be compatible with the Apple Pencil stylus pen. Usually, the new phones will be running the latest and greatest components and will be shipped with iOS 12 out of the box.
