As for the final period of Game 1 was full of controversy, from the reversed block/charge foul call involving LeBron James and Kevin Durant, the baffling dribbling out the clock by J.R. Smith at the end of regulation, and the melee surrounding the expulsion of Tristan Thompson in an overtime.

“We’ve got to move on,” LeBron James said. “This game is over and done with. We had opportunities.”

The Warriors outscored the Cavaliers 28-22 in the third period in Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals, preserving a tune for the defending champs, who are +136 in the third quarter this playoffs, outscoring their rivals by an average of 7.6 points per third quarter.
