The Golden State Warriors play host the Houston Rockets on Sunday night. Here is how to watch this Eastern Conference Finals 2018 NBA playoffs Game 3 live stream online.
The 2018 NBA Playoffs continues on Sunday night with a Western Conference Finals series between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets for the Game 3 clash. The Warriors and Rockets split the first two contests at 1-1, with the former taking the series opener by 13 points deficit and the latter smoothed things up in the second matchup with a 22-point deficit win. Now the action-packed West finals shifts back to Oakland, where the Rockets can claim back home court advantage by securing a victory in Game 3 over Warriors.
There are so many concerns heading into Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals of the 2018 NBA Playoffs between the Warriors and Rockets, we don’t know where to start. But it all conclude to who can play better in the court, and claim a 2-1 series lead. Houston shockingly outshone Warriors two nights ago to imprint their franchise name on the series.
The Golden State, on the other side of the ball, disappointingly head home puzzling out their miscalculations. Should the Warriors steal both Game 3 and 4, that would take a large amount of the air out of the Rockets’ turbine. It’s not far-fetched to get a grip on a 3-1 Warriors lead, but it’s a loophole that not many NBA organizations can exhume out of. Their main target is to shield home court advantage.
Sportsbooks aren’t bestowing the Rockets much of an opportunity on the road game, however, opening the aforementioned ball club as an 8.5-point underdog for the Game 3. It’s a pretty huge spread, but not a surprising one. Even in the stir of a shocking Houston win in their most recent contest, Golden State are the favorites to win the series and move on to their fourth consecutive NBA Finals appearance. While the series odds aren’t as asymmetrical as they were after the Western Conference Finals game opener, which saw the Warriors reach nearly 1-5 odds (-475) to win this series, compared to Rockets at +425. Golden State are still heavy favorite to win the the third round of 2018 NBA Playoffs campaign, -300 chalk to materialize from this best-of-seven, while Houston are now at +250. An overturn in Game 3 or 4 would definitely force the Sportsbooks to veer these odds closer to nearly even, but unless the Rockets take back homecourt advantage, then they will remain a fixed downtrodden.
Sunday night’s Game 3 showdown between the Warriors and Rockets is a completely pivotal one for both organizations as one would claim a lead against the other, which makes it quite difficult to envision. Will the powerhouse cast of Golden State be able to rebound back on winning streak at home after a gloomy road game in Houston? Or will the Rockets maneuver their impetus into victory in front of an unsympathetic crowd of Dub Nation in Game 3?
