The Boston Celtics play host the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. Here is how to watch Celtics and Sixers Game 5 live stream online in Eastern Conference semifinals of the 2018 NBA playoffs.
The Philadelphia 76ers managed to overturn a sweep and will be trying to mirror their Tuesday’s 103-92 win and extend the series against the Boston Celtics in Game 5.
With the Sixers’ season on the track, the team head coach Brett Brown opted to turn to backup point guard T.J. McConnell in the starting five lineup instead of relying to the struggling Robert Covington to save the organization from ending their conference finals hope. With Brown’s leap of faith to McConnell, the stratagem magically worked, as the latter scored a career-high 19 points to allow the 76ers to a 103-92 Game 4 victory over the Celtics.

In addendum to his scoring machine mode, McConnell played sensational defense against Terry Rozier, who posted just 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting in the Game 4.
The basketball pundits are widely expecting Philadelphia to start McConnell in Game 5, but the 76ers can’t count on another savage performance and will need their productions to be better. Sixers’ duo Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons both recorded a double-doubles in Game 4, but they combined to shoot 12-of-30 off the field and committed six turnovers.
In the Game, nobody stood out for Celtics, but Jayson Tatum continues to impact in the series with his scoring prowess. By making 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting, the rookie posted six consecutive matchups with 20 points or more.
The Celtics should still be feeling confident heading back to Boston. The Celtics haven’t been defeated in their home court yet in this year’s postseason, with Rozier especially executing at a high level power at TD Garden. The young point guard is making 22.8 points per game on 50.5 percent shooting from the floor in six playoff home contests.

The Celtics may be playing their Game 5 without backup point guard Shane Larkin. He injured his shoulder after rushing into Embiid in the first half of their most recent game and didn’t return to the court.
