The Boston Celtics are seeking to conclude the series against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4 of the 2018 NBA Playoffs and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals against whoever win in the Cavaliers-Raptors series.

[agg-ad id=”438″ align=”center”]The 76ers were just inch away from claiming the Game 3 over the Celtics. Instead, Marco Belinelli’s feet were on the line, turning his game-winning throw into a game-tying shot by the end of the regulation. With that said, the Game 3 needed and overtime, Brad Stevens and Al Horford took over.

There is no team in the league history has come back from a 3-0 deficit in the postseason, but that doesn’t mean that the Sixers can’t be the first organization. It begins with Game 4 at home court, while the Celtics try to end the series early for them to take a good rest and make a second consecutive trip to the Eastern Conference finals.

[agg-ad id=”434″ align=”center”][agg-ad id=”442″ align=”center”]Despite injuries to multiple core players, Boston’s 55-27 2017-18 NBA regular-season record was the second best in the East. The Sixers, on the other side of the ball, who concluded the regular-season with a 52-30 streak, outscored the Miami Heat in a convincing five contest, becoming the first ball club in the East to advance to the conference semis.

Instead of a 2-1 series lead for Boston, the team head into Game 4 with a 3-0 controlling lead over the Philly and a massive opportunity to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals for a second season in a row.

While most of the spectators and pundits will likely focus on the playmaker of Stevens and his out-of-timeout calls, the Philadelphia did their best — everything they could to steal the Game 3 from the Boston. A turnover with five seconds time left on the clock in regulation led to a Jaylen Brown layup.

A steal by Al Horford in the final seconds of overtime in Game 3 against the 76ers, and succeeding free throws, made the Celtics lead from one to three.

Those two turnovers cost the 76ers a couple of opportunities to secure the Game 3 victory. Joel Embiid posted a total of 22 points and 19 rebounds in that matchup. Ben Simmons chipped in 16 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. While J.J. Redick posted a total of 18 points in his stats. Sixers had three other key players in double figures.

[agg-ad id=”834″ align=”center”]The overtime game heroics of Horford eclipsed the trio Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Terry Rozier once again coming up big for Celtics. Tatum, Brown and Rozier combined for 58 points on 54 percent shooting.
