The 2018 NBA Playoffs returns and will kick off earlier than usual tonight at 6 p.m. ET with Game 2 of what seems to be a exciting Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers. There’s also the second series in tonight’s schedule — a clash between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers at 8:30 p.m. ET. It started with the Cavs pulling off a massive victory even without rising superstar Jaylen Brown in the field. Anything could happen in these Game 2s, which makes tonight’s game a can’t-miss action-packed matchups.
Sportsbook are predicting that both the Raptors and 76ers to rebound after losing their respective opening game in the second round of 2018 NBA Finals. The Toronto Raptors opened as a 6.5-point favorite in spite turning up just brief in overtime on Game 1. Toronto were seven-point in that game — which they eventually lost 113-112 — but couldn’t conquer a 26-point, 13-assist, 11-rebound outing from Cavaliers’ superstar LeBron James and the rest of the team. The Cavs will need to turn things around at full tilt to stay away of a trip to Cleveland in a 0-2 losing streak, most especially after getting defeated home-court advantage.
[agg-ad id=”442″ align=”center”][agg-ad id=”834″ align=”center”]The Boston Celtics are once again underdogs for their contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, listing 3.5 points in Game 2 of their second-round series at the TD Garden. The Celtics didn’t allow the point spread discourage them from tearing off a 117-101 win in front of the home crowd.
The Celtics has employed a well-balanced offense that ended in Terry Rozier (29 points), Jayson Tatum (28 points) and Al Horford (26 points) all scoring a big numbers. It was more than sufficient to trounce Joel Embiid’s 31-point, 13-rebound attempt for the Sixers. The Philadelphia shot a mere 42.2% from the field and a savage 19.2% from beyond the the three-point range, far below the Boston’s impressive figures of 48.2% FG and 48.6% 3PT shooting.
