Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves: Cavs-Wolves game preview, start time, TV channel, other NBA information and more.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (Cavs-Wolves live stream online and score below) kicks off at 8:00 PM EDT.

Jimmy Butler hopes to defeat the Cavaliers for an eighth straight time on Wednesday night when his team, the Timberwolves visit Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hit another low in the organization’s drama-filled 2017-18 NBA regular season on Tuesday night, February 6, when the team were beaten out 65-31 in the second half of the show to blow a 21-point lead to the lowly Orlando Magic.

[agg-ad id=”442″ align=”center”][agg-ad id=”834″ align=”center”]After a disappointing defeat, their second consecutive loss, the Cavaliers are now tied for third in the Eastern Conference with the Washington Wizards, and are just four contest up on the ninth-seeder Detroit Pistons.

And unluckily for the Cavs, things aren’t going to get any effortless on Wednesday night, February 7, with the Minnesota Timberwolves coming to their home. Last time these two ball clubs met on national television back on January 8, it didn’t go so well for the Cavaliers as the Timberwolves handed the Cavs a 28-point defeat.

Now, Cavaliers will be trying to mirror it again. The Minnesota have been just okay lately, though the team have won their last couple of matchups, and should be well rested, having not played since last weekend.

Butler has been on the winning team in the past seven times he has faced LeBron James and the Cavs between playing for the Wolves this season and the Chicago Bulls previously. On the other side, Isaiah Thomas has been quite terrible, and he will have a tough game with Jeff Teague.

[agg-ad id=”438″ align=”left”]James, for his measure, has really struggled to put together consistent effort over the course of 48 minutes over this horrible stretch. The blame definitely doesn’t come close to falling entirely on his shoulders, but his effort, intensity, and focus have all come and gone insanely quickly. We’ll see if he can put together a consistent effort against the Wolves.
